Ghost Rider will be hitting DVD on June 12th, 2007.

That's the one. They've changed the skull to the movie one and the background to the city though.

I have to get that and frame it!

:woot:

They're advertising the heck out of the DVD here in Leeds. Every second bus stop has a poster for it. And it's the best one too, where the camera is down low beside the Hellcycle's front wheel and GR is leaning back, toting the chain like a whip.

Its getting plenty of advertising here in Liverpool as well, and it was No.1 in the HMV chart as well.

I'm so old-fashioned I don't have a digital camera or one of those mobile telephones all the young people rave about.

However, I'll get someone to do the job!

:woot:

Thanks for the heads-up, DZ!

And to anyone who's got the 2 disc DVD, what was the Sin & Salvation documentary like? It's not on the Blu Ray version.

^I found that documentary to be awesome, they literally covered every era of GR comics, very interesting, they also talk about what is coming up in GR comics as well!

yeah, the GR comic stuff was well done, but the behind the scenes making if stuff felt flat.

Dang it! I'll have to borrow the DVD off someone. I'd really like to see that documentary.

This is the Virgin Exclusive DVD. That's also the image used to promote the DVD (on bus shelters everywhere).

I got the HMV version, the cover was much better IMO.

BTW, what was the comic you got with the Virgin version?

That's the Target edition cover...I think that is 10x better than the cover they used for the Extended Cut. I want it.

The Virgin one is my favourite of all the covers. I ain't got that version though. I got the Blu-Ray one:

By the way, all you chaps in the US, was your extended cut rated PG-13 like the theatrical cut? As you can see above, the UK extended cut was bumped up from a 12 to a 15.

I bought mine from HMV as well...came with a Ghost Rider bandana which is pretty sweet :woot:

And before you ask, I'm not wearing it lol

Ok, I just watched the extended cut, and I have to say the extra scenes weren't anything to gawk at. The only scene that helped explain anything was the confrontation b/w Caretaker and Blackheart in the graveyard. Other than that...:whatever:

I must admit, i like the scene were Johnny and Barton Blaze have an argument about him leaving with Roxanne, and the way his father gives him the keys to Grace.

Cool.
Wish that cover was available here. Some stores are however offering the same free comic that that Virgina set seems to have.
