New Line Home Entertainment has announced Blade: House of Chthon which stars Sticky Fingaz, Jill Wagner, and Jessica Gower. This all-new release will include an extended cut of the feature length Blade: The Series premiere. This 88 minute feature will be available to own from the 18th September, and should retail at around $19.97. Extras will include audio commentaries, and a making of documentary. Funny that the promotional artwork hypes up Blade's ratings, when they obviously weren't good enough to keep the show on.

I'm surprised they wouldn't just issue the entire series on DVD. Blade: the series was so episodic, having only the pilot is kind of silly, IMHO.

The pilot actually sucked, which was a fatal mistake for the show. By mid-seaon the show got WAY BETTER, and by the end of the season it was awesome. But by that time nobody was watching anymore, so it was canned. Check it out.

I'll buy it as i love Jessica Gower (Chase), plus Goyer promised there would be alot of nudity in the unrated cut!t:

The premiere episode was horrible but it got huge ratings. But no one tuned back in so the show was cancelled. I actually stopped watching after a while myself. At first I was really excited about this show.

And I have no clue why the hell they didnt give Blade any hair!
