Ghost Rider's greatest rival - studio execs?

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but after Mark Steven Johnson's last Marvel movie was f'ed up by studio execs, do you think the same thing will happen again? Johnson obviously understands Daredevil (and hopefully Ghost Rider too), but will the studio allow a true vision to be seen on screen or will they make sure a yes-man will have the final say on the theactrical cut of the movie so make it more "mass audience" friendly (like Daredevil)? Just watched the making of the director's cut of Daredevil and this came to mind.

Director's Cut was the superior version, but I think the odds are better this time around.

Daredevil was made by Fox, who hates to make good movies and will do anything to disappoint fans.

Ghost Rider is being made under Sony, who understands the source material and will do anything to see it made right (eg: allowing it to be postponned to get it done better).

So no, the Rider wont be butchered

You have to remember that this is a very different time for Comic Book movies. They're more accepted for one thing. Also, Ghost Rider is not following the hugely sucessfull Spider-man. Surely that movie played a big part in how Fox developed DD. This, I believe, is the reason why the cut it to be more of a love story between Electra and Ben than about DD and Ben.

The main thing though is that the Studio is Sony and they definitely get what makes a great comic book movie and what's needed promotion wise. We also know that Sony has full faith in MSJ and have pretty much let him do everything he's wanted, including giving him more money to add some new scenes (Fight w/ helicopter, for example).

I have no worries at all about Sony. They rock.
