it wasnt techno, first off...techno implies only keyboards used, no real instruments...if anything, it was industrial, which is techno with metal guitars...and I love the original verson of GRITS...as well as Dick Dales surf version of it...a good song can be translated well to any genre...
anyway, it was spiderbait, but I cant find the damn thing anywhere...and it's not on the soundtrack cd...
It is Spiderbait, yes.
Word is Mark Steven Johnson got to know the bad whilst he was here in Melbourne, and they hit it off.
I love the original and subsequent cover versions of this song. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed Spiderbait's version as well.
Much more than their cover to "Black Betty." God, that got irritating.
Spider-bait did a song, yes, but it wasn't Ghost Riders in the sky, I'm sure of it.
We sat through the entire credits to find out where it was filmed and I remember seeing Ghost Riders In The Sky on the songlist but didn't see the Performed By Title...so I could be wrong
I've been waiting for the Catwoman soundtrack to come out and look what happened >.<
The score was cool...I wanna get any record with Ghost Rider on it, but this whole "Let's make a good-looking movie, have a popular music soundtrack intertwined with a score and release them both seperately to make more money" eg Fantastic Four score, Fantastic Four soundtrack. Please, if it goes over two discs, just make it a two-disc set. GOSH!
In the credits it's listed as (Ghost) Riders In The Sky, by Spiderbait.
I'm waiting with anticipation for the cd single to be released, and then, of course, the cd soundtrack and score.
Oh yeah!
Heck, I might even see the movie again, just for the music!
