In a chicken-flavored version of the “Super Size Me” documentary, a British girl is apparently dealing with the consequences of eating nothing but chicken nuggets and french fries for 15 straight years.

According to tabloids The Sun and the Daily Mail, 17-year-old Stacey Irvine of Birmingham has been eating chicken nuggets since the age of 2. Recently, she was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at work. Doctors found she had anemia and swollen veins in her tongue. But of course, that could prove to be merely a bump in the road for her nugget-mania. She told The Sun:

“I am starting to realise this is really bad for me. McDonald’s chicken nuggets are my favourite. I share 20 with my boyfriend with chips. But I also like KFC and supermarket brands. My main meal is always chicken nuggets every day.”

Irvine’s mom Evonne is — like any good parent whose daughter has eaten chicken nuggets for 15 years – exasperated:

“It breaks my heart to see her eating those damned nuggets. She’s been told in no uncertain terms that she’ll die if she carries on like this. But she says she can’t eat anything else.”

Those damned nuggets. This makes Morgan Spurlock’s hamburger-infused “Super Size Me” diet seem positively healthy. At least burgers have lettuce, right?

Good Christ.

I had some the past 2 days by chance and today I feel like I ate a running blender full of syrup.

Geez, I like chicken nuggets as much as the next person, but how could you not get bored eating the same thing for 15 years?

Also, the mother may sound exasperated, but who was feeding that kid meals for most of her childhood? There's no way this girl could have been eating nothing but chicken nuggets since she was 2, unless her parents were feeding her that.

How did she not get sick of the nuggets? & why did the parents allow this? So many stupid people, so little time.

People like this are why natural selection is necessary.

I guess she was too chicken to try new foods.

Everybody's seen the picture of the soft-serve pink goo that it is basically made from?

My thoughts exactly.

Honestly, it's probably more common than you think with poorer families. Mickey D's is the only option.

When I was 12 my day camp went to my junior high school's cafeteria for lunch. They served chicken nuggets one day, and one of mine had what looked like a strand of spaghetti inside it (perhaps a worm or something? Still don't know til this day). I threw them out and haven't had chicken nuggets to this day.

Well, we do have to keep up with them Kardashians, afterall. :o

I felt sick just getting a 20 piece once (I ordered a 10 piece and they gave me 20 since it was the same price at that time). I couldn't imagine eating them every day for 15 years.

Okay, if this is her attitude then just die already.

I'm surprised it didnt happen sooner.

Do I speak on behalf of everyone here when I say I wanna see a picture of this girl?

Yea but thats a **** excuse. Fruit and veg ain't no more expensive than a McDs.

It's pure laziness. The parents can't be arsed to cook proper meals, so they just get takeaways and fast food.

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps this is what happens when you grow up eating nothing but chicken nuggets. Maybe there's something in the nuggets which alter your brain and body chemistry to the point where you crave chicken mcnuggets day and night :)

I'd hate to see what this girl looks like. It's no wonder she collapsed. How can anyone just eat nuggets?

Ok I found an image of her. I was actually expecting to see an incredibly obese girl, but she's actually cute.
