This (done right of course) would be my dream series. In a "perect world" it would be a crime drama somewhat simular with CSI and would have a Legends of the Dark Knight feel about it.

Characters that wouldn't necessarily make it as a major villian on the big screen like Zsasz(more like the comic book version. Though I am cool with the movie version),Lady Shiva, Rupert Thorne, Hugo Strange and even the Clayfaces would have their oportunity to shine. Non comic book based mysteries would be just as welcome.

Love interests like Selina Kyle, Talia, Vicki Vale, Silver St. Cloud and Vesper Fairchild could each at some point appear as could Leslie Thompkins in the surrogate mother type role she's played(when written right) over the years.

One of my favorite underrated storylines Venom, in which Batman becomes addicted to the steroid-like sunstance that eventually fueled Bane, could be fleshed out.Not to mention the fan favorites, The Long Halloween and the Killing Joke.

I'd also keep the Penguin and the Riddler around regularly for Batman to ruff up whenever he might need information. Batman's alter ego of Matches Malone would make several appearences from time to time too.

What would you do with the series? Feel free to write synopses
as casting suggestions if you'd like.

The first Season would have a mixture of Batman: Year One and The Long Halloween and other stories.
Actually the two-hour pilot film would be Year One while The Long Halloween, Batman and The Monster Men, Batman and The Mad Monk, and Batman: The Man Who Laughs would be adapted somewhat to the series.
The Second Season would introduce Robin/ Dick Grayson.
You would see a lot of Batman supporting cast charcters during the seasons such as Jim Gordon ( From Lt.-Captain- Commissioner), Alfred Pennyworth, Leslie Thompkins, harvey Bullock, Harvey Dent ( Asst. DA- DA- Two-Face), Julie Madison, Vicki Vale, Silver St. Cloud, The Roman Carmine Falcone, Commisioner loeb, Detective Flass, Rupert Thorne, Mayor Hamilton Hill,Batgirl/ Barbara Gordon, and of couse the Batman Rogues.

While a Batman live action sereis could of course shine if done right, I am more interested in seeing a mini-sereis based of off 'The Man Who Falls' storyline. I'm currently working on a treatment for one which would preceed a 'Year One' type Batman movie. It would feature elements of shows already mentioned, such as 'CSI' for the pilot which would involve Bruce in the FBI and becoming disillusioned with the criminal justice system, but structually I would go for something similar to 'Lost'. That is to say, we the audience would see flashbacks to Bruce's years in Gotham, through his Parents murder up until him leaving Gotham at age 14.

I'd rather like to see a live action series based on Nightwing.

I have a feeling that we'd see it before a new Batman series. BTW, I'd love to see that too!

I wish for a Nightwing series too. Come on WB!!

I'll make it simular to the hit Wb show "Angel", good martial arts and sufficient action but with the detective element to it and alot of twists and turns, entertaining yet sophisticated.

In all honesty... I'm more interested in seeing a new cartoon series than a "live action" one.
I'm getting somewhat bored of the same old stories repeating themselves across different media, giving only the comic book writers the "right" to create real new stories... don't get me wrong, there are a lot of different and interesting stories that have been created so far, but I would really enjoy seeing something new, something bold, something different...

I'd like to see a dark, grotesque and violent cartoon that would put more emphasis on Batman's detective work, while at the same time giving more importance to the psychological aspects of the characters ( the villains in particular ). At the same time, I'd like to see a certain "reinvention" of the characters... maybe not Batman himself, but I want to see new interpretations of the villains from the series. I'm not talking about changing what they are about or their background necessarily, but at least give them a fresh new look that would suit the feel of the series better...

... that, I would like.

You know... I recently asked myself "What if Timm and co were to make a new Batman animated series made for Toonami?"

I would want to see it int he same animation style as the JLU series, widescreen format, new batman costume (black on black. No gray or blue... just 100% black), throw in Huntress, Change Joker's design, introduce Hush, and make it totally different from the Gotham Knights season.

I would kill to see this happen.
