Where I would take it is Atreus vs sindri (which obviously they’re going) maybe Atreus can’t get they to him, we’re like 5 years down the line, kratos and freya are on their own, have their own family and maybe sindri kills Atreus. And now kraits have to avenge him. Just off the top of my head, don’t remember what the prophecy said. Fit that storyline after the personal one.
