We go from a drought to Godzilla saturation.

And that's what confuses me as early on Legendary, del Toro and others spoke specifically about working together to avoid such overlap.

Eh no one saw that crapfest anyways
How big is he meant to be in this movie? Because to me in these spots he looks the same size as '98 Godzilla.

Zilla was 50 meters in the 1998 film 90 in Godzilla final wars. The new Godzilla is 106 meters.
t:106 Meters is 350 feet. The Golden Gate bridge is 220 feet (67 meters) tall. So that'd put him 130 feet over.
PG-13 For Intense Scenes of Destruction, Mayhem, and Creature Violence.
The undying reptile.t:
What about the depth of the water around the bridge? The bridge is 67 meters above the water's surface, right? But factor in water depth, and Godzilla still isn't big enough, I think.

dude seriously....this movie looks freaking special good, and I love how we are only getting quick glimpses of new stuff unlike Spider-Man 2 and even Cap2 which I'm super stoked for tonight, but this marketing done right, only thing they did wrong is that they should have released something sooner last year.
From some of these shots it looks like Godzilla is gummin it, no teeth to be seen.
Maybe that's an intentional call back.
Except this time around Godzilla will just instantly heal and proceed to swipe the jets (?) out of the sky. Maybe the only reason he looks hurt there is because he's already fighting a MUTO and the military is butting in after the MUTO opened up a weak spot.
