I don't think that trail was made by Godzilla in the 2014 pic. No footprints. I think it was made by a muto that dug itself out of the ground and headed towards water.

It would be bizarre and equally awesome to see this in the new movie.Or G was sliding on his tail.

Slipin' and Slidin' would have to play over the footage:Needs more realizm. He needs to be thousands of feet tall. Him sliding on his tail would take out at least 20 entire states in the U.S.

Ah, but as said, where are the footprints in the 2014 picture? There's only a tunnel like path leading to the ocean.But he's humongous though. All of wherever that place is(Hawaii or the Philippines?) would have been destroyed completely by his tail alone.
