The description from the guy on Tumblr from SXSW kinda lines up with what's going on in that scene.

Godzilla is battling the smaller Male MUTO in Honolulu, Hawaii and the soldiers in the helicopter are very close to the action.

But I could be wrong.

I only paid $13 online (+shipping ) for my "Godzilla: World Destruction Tour" t-shirt, which has the Big G on front with his name, and on the back, all of the places he's destroyed. The cotton is very nice and well made.

And this is almost 3 times as much? Pass, unless I can get it for cheap.

It has not, according to Wiki:

Seamus McGarvey served as the film's cinematographer, shooting the film digitally using Arri Alexa cameras with Panavision C-Series anamorphic lenses. Sequences of the film set in the year 1954 were shot using vintage lenses from the early 1960s in order to give the film a "distant period feel".

It looks like 2014's G will be an embodiment of all of the elements the Godzilla design has gone through over the past 60 years (makes sense given the 60th anniversary) much like how Final Wars was suppose to be the same from the past 50 years, maybe even moreso here by comparison.
