I don't recommend illegal downloading, as it can often lead to all sorts of problems. What kind of animation program are you looking for? For 2D affairs, I'd say go with Director MX (or whatever the latest version is). Most folks recommend Maya for 3D works.hewholaughs55 said:Photoshop and image ready arent cutting it anymore. You know, I gotta say that telling people to search on Google is the most bull answer one can give to a question on an online forum. Do you think you're being clever by telling people to use Google to search for stuff? Google can give you millions of search results, and there's no way to tell which of those results are going to be worthwhile and which are going to be worthless until after you've looked through them.Google.com

Here's a thought: Maybe hewholaughs wasn't looking for any ol' search result that pops up on Google. Maybe he was looking for a recommendation from people who've used such programs.
That said, I recommend trying Download.com. Their search results give you an assortment of programs that are free, or simply have a free trial. Here's a link to their Animation Software page. There's a "narrow search" menu on the left side of the page, which should help narrow it down.
