Horror Goosebumps | Disney+

Are You Afraid of the Dark was better.

I enjoyed season 1 a lot.
I don't like the idea of season 2 being completely different, but at the same time I get it. The books would have cliffhangers and leave things open. That is how I will view S1.

There's some intriguing news ahead of Disney+'s spookiest series launching its second season. Eduardo Sánchez, one of the brilliant minds behind the legendary The Blair Witch Project, is stepping into the director's chair for the second season of Goosebumps on Disney+.

Definitely seeing Stay Out of the Basement and Monster Blood in that trailer.

I enjoyed the first episode. And just going to have to learn to live that the 90's is now the time of "when the parent characters were kids"....

I do like the AHS anthology angle they got going here.

forgot this was on D plus I may have to start watching it

2 more episodes down, and yeah, definitely feeling more Are You Afraid of the Dark than the first season.

Yeah, really enjoyed this series. It was a nice reminder that Goosebumps was just as much scifi as it was supernatural. And a better ending than the first season. The first season ended on a cliffhanger that really felt more set up for a second season. This is just a traditional Goosebumps ending.

Was it like the swamp monster episode with the kids finally escaping the house with the monster only to learn there are more in the swamp?

I mean, given the type of story, the final shot was a bit predictable. But its not something that is setting up a big sequel.
