Got an attractive friend you would honestly rather be friends with than date?

The general notion would be given the right opportunities most people would persue a relationship with an attractive friend of theirs, even if for a short time where it has no effect on your friendship (the Ideal scenario)

Maybe this is a crazy assumption but i'll stand by it.

So would anyone genuinely prefer being friends with an attractive mate rather than persuing them given the right opportunities

Not really. Couple years ago we used to pretty similair, but now we're quite different. I used to be pretty good friends with her and her friends, but since they're all older then me they all had to leave for university, and we've just drifted apart...I could see me dating one of them, but the fact is they're all kind of religious. And just that fact alone, I know it wouldn't work out.
