I have been buying this series for a while and have been enjoying it, just wanted to know what everyone thinks of it
Edit - Also I felt like updating the first post for people not familiar with this series.

Written by Steve Niles; Art and Cover by Kelley Jones
12 issue story arc
(I will include small synopsis's for the issues later)

I have ordered the first two issues of it. Can't wait to read them. I Love Kelley Jones.

Ya if you are a Kelly Jones fan this is a wet dream. It has this old school monster feeling about it.

I disagree. I wasn't a huge fan of the series to begin with, but when I got to the last page of issue #3 and saw the "Bat-Robot" I almost threw up in my mouth. It was just downright terrible. Ruined the whole series for me.

I haven't looked into the series but I've always had a deep appreciation for Kelley Jones' artwork. I'll pick up the trade.

Yeah, the Bat-Robot was terrible. The whole series is ruined now!

I remember seeing them mention the Bat Robot in earlier issues and I was thinking the whole time.

I hope this ends the way I am thinking it should it end.

Well considering I already started the series I have to end it. I dont like leaving story arcs until they're completely finished. I dont think its that bad and I'm interested in seeing who this new villain is o_O

It certainly isn't bad, but a kind of out there story. The guy ripping out hearts is cool

I'm just not sure about this one...

The story is a mess right now, and the Batman character seems slightly off

The artwork can be beautiful and at the same time downright ugly (This isn't 'Batman:red rain' Mr Jones)... Batman looks ridiculous sometimes - oh and the cape is really pushin' it...

I'm not excited about it right now...

I'm really digging this run so far. Steve Niles, just as in "City of Others" and "Bad Planet", really paces the story with non-stop thrills and shocks. Kelley Jones' art seems alot more to my liking here than it was on Blood Rain and his 90's Batman work.

Just got the first four issued for a dollar. Overall the story is decent. It's Steve Niles so while he has good concepts (30 Days Of Night), but the story overall is way too...simple...and plain. Art is great though. I'll probably skip the next 8 and wait for the trade.

 Good idea.

This series is really awesome! Kelley Jones' art is as fantastically gruesome as ever! And the story by Steve Niles is great fun. Midnight is awesome!

Batman's giant robotic combat suit is awesome!

April Clarkson is great!

And it's great to see Clayface! He's never looked more gruesome and creepy!
