The description sounds good to me if it pans out. Where Rocksteady lost a lot of goodwill with me after Knight, WB Montreal turned out - in my opinion - easily the best Arkham game. So I'll be there day one for them doing their own thing. The only thing I'd be a bit disappointed by in the leaked possible description is if it is just the four of them. While I'm happy to have four at all, I would love if they'd expand on that with some more characters through DLC.

Looking into things, I never realized they were responsible for most of what I liked in Knight as well, namely A Matter of Family and additional playable characters.

I dont know if its a completely new team, but as far as i remeber there were a lot of people who joined and a lot of former AAA developers i think.
There were news of someone really "prominent" in the gaming industry joining, but i cant remember who.

The only bug/glitch I had with Origins was the sound during the batwing loading screen. The only issue I had with the story was the twist with Black Mask/Joker

Well, I'm sure there was a lot of turnover from the release of Origins to today if that's what you mean.

We needed more missions/boss fights like that and way less of those tedious Batmobile tank missions. If they were responsible for A Matter of Family, then this game is definitely going to be super enjoyable.

Yeah, given that, now I'd say they made my two favourite Arkham games.

Superficial thing: I really hope in this game they explore Babs/Dick instead of Babs/Tim. That was just wrong to me in the Arkham canon.

It's not that superficial I'd argue. It was a pretty big dropping of the ball as far as getting those characters right imo. Plus Nightwing really had little to do in that game, he could have used the ectra motivation and involvement in the story.

I really like that supposed leaked premise. I actually like the simplicity of the character line up, at least for this initial game. I would like to see that expanded as time goes on, whether that be DLC or sequels. I could easily see them adding Red Hood and Catwoman through DLC since they've already have the assets for it.

But the Bat-family working together to clear their name against the Court of Owls? Sign me up. I trust WB Montreal to deliver a solid story. Origins is still the best of the Arkham games and Matter of Family was the best DLC story in Knight for my buck, so I trust them.

My game would sometimes freeze during the Batwing loading screen, and there were occassions where I'd be gliding around and the game would freeze while my XBox made an unholy sound.

The push for Bruce and Barbara was always more of a Burnett thing.

I doubt they'll do that again here and this is a reboot from the arkham games, so Babs/Tim shouldn't likely continue

agreed. it's a creepy abuse of his father/mentor role to the younger members of the Bat family.

If, in the timeline, Bruce and Babs are close in age, then I have no problem.

Speaking of WB Montreal and Origins, it would be nice if we could get some kind of Origins remaster for the current system. That way, we'd be able to play all the Arkham games on one console (outside of using BC on Xbox One to play Origins).

Or just release an Arkham collection that includes all 4 games and all the DLC.
