I've heard this called a soft reboot. I've been wondering if the world and characters will have the same vibe or if there will be a change of style. Not too bothered either way but wouldn't mind things being a little less techy.

I'm willing to bet it's still gonna feel like "Arkham" with the gameplay and such despite being a soft reboot. The Arkham style has been established as THE Batman experience, in my mind.

yes. even if it's a soft reboot in terms of story and character, I still want the Arkham "style" of gameplay. Especially the combat. If they want to add their own refinements and changes, fine. But I still want it to feel like an Arkham game.

Was meaning more in terms of aesthetics to be honest, given it's a reboot. I agree they won't be reinventing the fundamental mechanics of the game.

I am hoping the Robin is actually Damian. I don't think it will be, as they can just still to Tim's stick fighting, but I'd love a sword and watching Bruce deal with Damian in general. Also they could make a point of Damian having to avoid killing people.

I'd be okay with this as long as they just give Damian all the one-liners. It's about time for him to be in another video game.

I loath Damian but wouldn't mind him in the story if it still focuses on Batman and other bat family members. Wouldn't use him in free foam but maybe combat challenges since he's at least a good fighter for that

Would be neat to have tiny Damian playable.
That would also keep the door open for a possible Damian wayne batman spin off.

I expect nightwing, batgirl and Robin...maybe even Jason.
But sadly i dont think the whole family will be in this.
But maybe one day, one can only hope.

There could easily be an extended bat family pack for dlc. I wouldn't be surprised if they have Huntress, Jason or Tim as a pre-order bonus

If I had it my way, we’d be able to play as Bruce, Dick as Nightwing, Jason as Red Hood, Tim as Red Robin, Damian as Robin, Stephanie as Spoiler and Best Batgirl (Cassandra Cain).
