I know he had role in the initial “Arkham Legacy” game. I guess it must’ve carried over to this one.

Speaking of which, does anyone think we’ll ever see that “Arkham Legacy” game? Or is it time to put the Arkham series on the past?

Considering that this and Suicide Squad are supposed to be reboots in another universe. I'd say the arkham series is over with although it can still at least have comic spin offs

Sure but my point is this year and right now with upcoming games. Whether you pick to get them all or not, we have options and that's a good thing. As gamers that happen to be superhero fans, I think we are absolutely lucky and getting blessed. Sure it there can be more of our specific favorites still. Good thing for me that I have more than one favorite and enjoy all comic companies

Yeah more options, only if you have a PlayStation or else you aren't getting the chance to play the 2 latest Spider-Man games (soon it will be 3, when a new Spidey is announced for 2022 or 2023). Whichyou should relate to.

Anyway, as someone who was eXposed to so many Marvel games growing up. I don't think we are gettingso muchgames. I mostly played DC games for the last three years,but even that, there's so much left to be desired of, especially considering all the cbm movies we've gotten for the last ten years. Something like the Avengers should have happened in the mid 2010s, while Arkham Knight came out almost four years ago. Gotham Knights feel a bit overdue imo.

Hard to say, there is a chance that we could see this game some day...a kind of batman beyond game is always in peoples minds.
It also comes down to how successfull those new games are.
I wouldnt rule it out completely, but at the moment its unlikely.

We definitly dont get as many Comic book games as we could.
Alone those yearly comic book movie games...ah i miss the time despite the games being rather medicore and all.
If we look at the list @Zorro posted, there are quite a few games yeah...but if you look at who they feature...its not spread out enough imo.
Team up games are nice and all, but you could do so much with those characters stand-alone.

Oh man i hope that's true! Especially the Gotham Knights. 17 districts? That sounds huge, and much much larger than arkham knights open world. I'm fine with the regenerated Talons too, so long as its fun.

The gotham knights one sounds super cool, but imo a bit too big almost.
17 districts with 17 talons? is there even a place then for other characters?
I love the side missions in the arkham series, would suck if they arent as big in this one.
But maybe the whole game is huge as hell, who knows.
We will see...release early 2021 would be fine for me...a sure ps5 it would be then.
Harley possibly playable, i dont know...seems kind of random considering the story.
What would be the purpose? I could see having a talon being playable or so...but harley? Strange.

The suicide squad sounds cool too...but i dont like that it wouldnt have batman in it.
If we talk about the justice league then i would want batman in.
But otherwise sounds really neat.

I take that with a grain of salt, at this stage i dont let my expectations go up...im in this state where im super happy for saturday but fully open to what this batman game could be.
The only thing i expect is the Talons and the court of owls...everything else in terms of leaks, rumors etc i take with a grain of salt.

Man those 3 days will be super long.

Leak is super fake. If you are going to put in a preorder exclusive, make it someone that could seem like a bat family character... Catwoman or one of the many Robins.

Yeah.
I get that WB etc want to make Harley THE big thing...but this looks super random.
There is no theme or so that would support harley as pre-order.
If we go with the family theme etc then it would be super random.

Also the whole 3 joker control the court seems super fake and a very far stretch.

Leak seems suspect when it says Batwoman but NO Batgirl. I get including Batwoman, but to have NO Batgirl representation when this is supposed to be a "Bat-family" game? That just seems suspect.

And I agree about Harley. Keep her in the Suicide Squad, but I don't need or WANT her as a playable Bat-family character. especially if you are going to leave out a Batgirl.

You never heard of the one girl rule? Similar to the black friend rule, once you have one you don't need another.

I mean these games always have multiples sides missions involving other villains. We will have some answers soon.

Arkham Asylum had Joker as a PS4 exclusive dlc. So I wouldn't say Harley as a pre-order is beyond them.

Would be kind of funny if he wouldnt be in the game after this more than obvious tease.
A good Two Face story or mission would be super cool.
Imagine getting his origin story in this...but if we have Dick established as nightwing then an origin story wouldnt work.
Or is Two face still the killer of his parents...wait was that just in batman&Robin? God damn im drawing a blank here right now...thats shamefull. XD

Yeah but there it made sense.
But harley would be out of the blue without real reason.
I mean yeah its still possible, but it would be really weird if the game is so focused on groups and all, and then they throw harley in there without any connection.
If there is a pre-order character or dlc character, i would go with a talon, red hood, batwoman, red robin, damian...but that comes down to who is in the game in the first place.
