I know I might sound like a philistine, but I really enjoyed Origins more than Arkham Knight. It might sound crazy, but Origins gave me more of what I wanted out of the Batman experience than Arkham Knight did.

I hope WB Games Montreal has had enough time to craft a good game experience. I think they are capable of doing so. A Court of Owls Batman game sounds like a really good idea.

Honestly, I'm looking forward more to this than Rocksteady's Suicide Squad.

Hard to say, Knight i think used Unreal engine 4 and had a lot of room to grow when it comes to the quality.
If i remember correctly, both Rocksteady and WBM were looking for people who know how to work UE4...but i could see them do their own engine.

It all comes down to how things have gone in the past.
The damian wayne probably ran on the engine they had for knight so i could see that not having changed.
But who knows, in a few hours we hopefully know more.
I could live with just a cgi trailer but gameplay would be neat, even a few screenshots would be enough.

For me, little under 7 hours by the time i write this.
Have you registered on the DC fandome site? If so it should be easier to get the dates right on your schedule.
Im super bad myself with this whole time stuff, the site put the schedule into my time zone so that helps a lot.

Oh they did? I saw something UE4 related, could be that this was part when they were hiring for the new project.
But damn if knight is UE3, imagine how good a game by them could look with UE4.

Yeah, what they were able to do with it was very impressive and AK remains one of the best looking games of this gen. Makes me excited to see what they could do with Unreal 4 on next-gen.

Hard to say how Gotham Knights will work. I mean really, Arkham Knight came out just over five years ago. That's already have a decade.

Well whatever engine they use I sincerely hope they ditch pre-rendered cutscenes. That is what made AK some fantastic to me. You could see all the skins in the cutscenes. It is an absolutely need for me in games with skins.

Origins is fantastic and I only recently played it for the first time. Really sad that I somehow missed out on it in 2013.

Oh yeah, especially since the pre-rendered cutscenes in asylum for example, didnt age too well.
And of course since skins are a important thing, it would give us the chance to admire them in cutscenes too.

I dont know, i mean it will most likely be at least a next gen upgradable game, but there is a chance that this might be a current gen title.
Of course its slim because the earliest release date that is rumored is november, and by that time the next gen consoles are ready for launch.
But still, i dont rule out anything until we have confirmation.
However i personally hope for a early 2021 next gen only release.

Would love to have out of the blue a reveal of a Origins remaster that releases directly after the panel.
That would be so cool to have one of the last PS4 games to be arkham origins.
One last ride on the ps4 until the release of the new game...god would that be cool.
