Is it just me or did Mazouz look taller in the Season 4 premiere than he does in these stills. I could have sworn he was taller than Alfred in the first episode of this season.

No I don't think David's height changes much this year (he consistently stands to about Sean's mid-forehead since the latter half of season 3 till Season 4, which is why I don't think he can get much taller). Probably in the scenes where you feel Bruce taller than Alfred it's because of angle.

Talking about Bruce's height I appreciate it that the show doesn't put pressure on David to look taller. It's VERY easy to ask him to wear heels or stand on a box (like RDJ or Tom Cruise do all the time when they film), and it must suck for a 16 year old boy to be told that he isn't tall enough to portray a character and required to stand on a box (I'm assuming David has fragile masculinity here). In contrast in the show Bruce is still small, Alfred has always towered over him and even comments that the group of criminals were all twice Bruce's size (in 4x2). Some probably don't like it that Bruce Wayne is so short but that's what I appreciate about the show.

We all have it wrong, Bruce isn't growing into Batman, he's growing into Rorschach.

was those clouds behind the moon??

So...question.

Who's the woman defrosting Nygma?
Other than that, solid episode so far. That opening flashback was .

Bruce investigating and Alfred's street talk!

:funny:

Welp, nevermind. Ed's got his own Annie Wilkes now. :funny:

Great to see Bruce starting to develop his 'acting' skills.

Smart Ed, don't argue with a lady with needles

Ed, you're starting to lose your mojo, dude.

And damn, the cinematography in this episode is freaking amazing.

The beginning of the billionaire playboy!!!

And there goes the origin of the false flag Bruce.

Yessssssss. David Mazouz played that wonderfully. :funny:

Ahh, that's how she came back.

All things considered...this was a pretty fun episode. Like that Jim got to relax for a bit before coming back to the city, Bruce embracing the billionaire brat persona was fun, even IF he didn't have a Bat credit card, and liked the stuff with Penguin and Zsasz looking for Nygma, though Myrtle there felt like she was doing her best Harley Quinn impression.

I could've done without Ra's and Barbara kissing, though.

We need more Zsasz. Desperately.

And yep, Barbara was brought back with the Lazarus pit, though everyone had already guessed that one.

Loved that prick billionaire persona. :funny:
