Gotham Gotham Season 4 Episode 5 - "The Blade's Path"

The chick with the hair at the end...is that who I think it was?

Oh hai Lee.

Bring on Professor Pyg next ep!

Leslie's the fight club owner? Does anybody besides Falcone actually LEAVE Gotham City?

Also, wow. You couldn't have told me three seasons ago that we'd be getting Solomon Grundy bantering with Nygma. And based on this 'kill,' Bruce will walk down the dark timeline and grow up to be Ben Affleck.

Well,

Ra's dead. It was nice having Siddig while it lasted.

Nah, just kidding. He'll be back. Hopefully.

Yeah first nobody stays dead on this show. And they aren't killing off a main villain from the comics. I think he was playing some mind games with him and will be back.

That, and we still need to find out just what the hell he did to Barbara.

Hopefully Barbara isn't a surrogate or stand-in for Talia...

Barbara is now magically pregnant with baby Babs, aka Batgirl, the end!:o:oldrazz::woot:

I had an awful thought that Barbara becomes Ra's. Not sure what he did to her. My guess is Ra's wants Bruce to be his heir so needed him to do something dark to prove it.

I personally don't get how killing a guy who is begging to be killed else he would go on a killing spree will turn you to the dark side. You would think that gets a free pass in the guilt free murder list

So it was kinda just prodding along the usual path and then HOLY ****!!!

Way to go making me proud of my forum signature, show. Love you.

I think Ra's was possessed by a Demon and the host body had died so many times and lived so long that it was time to change hosts. Something about that pit and the dagger combined to seal the deal. Not sure exactly how it works but the demon spirit is in Barbara now. She had been rez'd in the pit so her body was prepared for it.

i really don't get what they did tonight
bruce killing ra's?made siddig a regular for only first 5 episodes?making bruce into killer?

Being a regular doesn't really mean much in this show. Nicolas D'Agosto was a regular in season two, but Harvey Dent only showed twice.
Maggie Geha was regular last season as well, but was nowhere as prominent as they made her out to be.

Also, I'm sure we'll see Ra's again. If they don't revive him or his death is real, he can show up in hallucinations or flashbacks.

i am aware they often don't use regulars but making sidding a regular for only 4 of 5 episodes seems like waste.with dent and ivy they clearly didn't know what to do with them.i really don't like bruce killing him.while they did kill maroni before dent becomes two face i feel doing same with ra's is too big.though who knows what he gave barbara

Ra's has come back before, he was even blow up and was ashes and was revived. I don't think we have seen the last of him. I still think he was lying to Bruce.

something has to be up especilly with his conversastion with barbara.hard to believe his master plan was to find bruce so he could kill him.

Siddig is still credited for future episodes.

<Doux Reviews: The Blade's Path>

I'm impressed.

Of course he will likely be back in some shape or form, but that doesn't take away any of the impact of the show's decision for me. It's far less about Ra's being and staying dead than it is about Bruce actually going through with killing him.

yeah that all around a bad decsion.

I'm fine with Bruce killing this once if it then truly sets him on the path of not killing in the future. If taking a life really effects his arch and puts him on the path to be better than that, then I accept it.

If the killing becomes a regular thing and the producers and writers just don't care anymore, then I'll have an issue with it.
