If those rumors are true, this game will undeniably be one of the best games of 2012.

Speaking of 2012, this will come out during the summer or fall of that year. No way in hell they release such a trailer like that and keep it closed for over a year. And even though it's a GTA game, seems like it's going to somehow surprise people like Rockstar always does with their games.

Red Dead Redemption came out of nowhere and it is now proclaimed one of the best open world games/games in general.

Rockstar doesn't really do press conferences.

Why did not being able to kill kids, fall under juicy information?

And it's a shame that complete character costumisation isn't included. I don't think it should be allowed while the story is in progress, but should be an option when the story is completed and now you're just running around causing havoc.

IF they did that for the main game..I bet he'd be playable under his own"Episode of Los Santos",Like the old guy from RDR who was a main character from the old series and appeared in the game But was playable DLC!!

It's crazy to think next year will be a decade since I first played GTA III but here we are getting incredible tidbits about GTA V. I'm stoked, I'll need to pop back in San Andreas for some fun flash backs down memory lane.

You know, when it comes to the GTA games, the main reason I buy and play them is because of the quality that goes into the series. Otherwise, I honestly do not enjoy playing as the bad guy. It's often the reason I'll stop playing... I'm just not in the mood to be an *sshole. I also don't really want to play as just another person who allows himself to to run "uninhibited," to put it mildly. When I get home from work, I want to fly or swing or something to get through my city. Not just be another human being. I have to be in the right mood to have a real good GTA session and that is usually on the weekend during the day.

Red Dead was another story. For the most part, Ben was a good guy, except for the stuff in Mexico. It was a beautiful, vibrant world that put GTA to shame, but yet it just suddenly came out of nowhere.

I hope GTA V takes elements from RDR to the next level and it becomes the first GTA that I actually finish since III (and hopefully without using God-mode cheats in the last mission because it's too God-damn-ridiculously hard and just not fun.)

Agreed. That trailer looked like everything is done. They better not hold out until 2013. Most people will be looking forward to a new gaming console by then.

This game should be released no later than summer.

with Max Payne coming out in March, i think we can expect GTA by either late summer/early fall (Aug.-Oct.), or perhaps around December just in time for the holidays. at least that's what i hope for because i don't want to wait until 2013.

Now that Rockstar is coming back to the west coast, I've started thinking about how awesome it would be if they had done a game based around The Shield. It would essentially be L.A. Noire smashed together with San Andreas. I think, story and gameplay wise, it would be a really interesting challenge to do a game from the perspective of a crooked crop.

This is true, and I'm kind of surprised at that. I mean, maybe companies believe that the summer weather makes people want to go out more than stay in, so no one would want to play games when they could be at the beach or something. But for me, since I've always seemed to have more free time during the summer, I'm always more inclined to play games then when I'm busy with school and stuff.

It writes itself really, imagine planting evidence on a suspect and framing an innocent guy in order to save your own back (thinking of an armenian money train type situation)?. Just awesome.
