cn delayed itpsothey could add the new baman series tothe dc nation block next january

I caught the latest episode of Steam Lantern online and it was good.

There is no official word on the future of GL:TAS... however unlikely a renewal might be.

i hope the repeat the first tw eps of the second arc imssed the guy gardner one

Today was incredible. Hal Jordan putting that planet in another universe rivals Superman turning back time. Amazing feat.

I thought that reference was to Superman, when he said Red Cape.

Superman isn't a green lantern.

How cool was it for Hal to shift an entire planet to another universe? That was awesome. Also the steampunkiness was very cool to see. Steam Lantern's rocket pack reminded me of Steamboy's.

Also liked how the relationship between Gil and Catherine is like a slightly raunchier version of Hal and Carol.

Meh, old news. Saw that months ago. :o

Well, most people didn't get the chance to watch it when it was leaked on the internet all those months ago, which is why they're all commenting on it now after it officially aired this morning.

He said a red shirt and a cape.

One of the more unusual methods of suggesting a current hero's predecessor. I've found that the JSA heroes are always a hurdle for any writer trying to tell stories in the modern DCU.

Usually, yeah. It's a much bigger issue in re-tellings. Adding the JSA's formation in WWII to the DCU history was a stroke of genius back in the day. But if a writer, say, wanted to present the story of Superman, it takes a lot of the wonder away from the telling if superheroes are already established when he first shows up.

Man! i dunno but i really really dug this episode!
from the bad guy with the "Magento complex." with that whole " I'm doing this for you own good" approach, but then realizes he really is the villain of the piece and becoming remorseful!
to the " real hero" who thought he was a fraud. getting the lecture from Hal that as long you try that makes you a hero and saving Hal at the end.
to the humor ( and i swear most of times humor in these series sucks! it's usually lowbrow flatulence jokes) "Hardtofindium!" haha that was cool! That was like the "Bullwinkle and rocky" show "upsadaysium" and "oh well! we are all about to die!" well then it's tea time!" I freaking hate all this steam punk &^% , but if they made a series about Gil and his lady. i would watch it! good episode!

I watched this online in Oct, but it was much better on TV, especially the planet/reality rift scenes. I'm really glad this show is back--it's about stinking time, Cartoon Network.
