Green Man.

How tall is she meant to be?

When she was originally created, Boodikka was about 7' tall and not very attractive.

As time went, she became more and more attractive. Until after the Sinetro Corps war when she became an Alpha Lantern.

Green Man as he appeared in Green Lantern v2 #172

Prior to Green Lantern, volume 4, Green Man only made 4 appearances in a Green Lantern Comic. Most of his apperances were in Omega Men (issues 26 through 38, which I don't have). The stories that Green Man was involved in often were fable like with a lesson at the end. In GL *172 (show above) he was in a back story where he was stranded on a scavenger planet with his ring undercharged. This is after a battle with a Spider Guild drone which was approaching the planet. The scavangers had captured his power battery for its metal. He bargained with the scavengers to get his power battery back in exchange for the (metalic) Spider Guild drone. The scavanger who captured him was upset with him because he gave the metal ship to the people, which hurt his buisiness of supplying them with metal. Wanting to pleas the him, Green Man offered to help him somehow with his business, but the scavenger refused Green Man's help because the Green Lantern refused to take the metal from the people.

Green Man is now a member of the Alpha Lantern Corps along with Bookikka, Chaselon, and some others.

They were like Internal Affairs of the Lantern Corps, but I don't know what they are post Blackest Night or if any of them are even still alive, if you would call being turned into a robot alive.

F**k if I know. Read Green Lantern Corps. Maybe he'll pop up there. The book tends to focus on Kyle, Guy, John, Kilowog, and maybe some of the newer ones. I mean, the dude is totally just a face in the crowd.

Fair enough. I think we will start seeing more of him since he will be appearing in the movie.

Yeah, but every bodies gonna be in the movie. The Ball sack guy, That bird dude, that weird looking mofo. (Not that one, the other one.)

Hahaha, who knows. I dont think they will show many members maybe 7-8.

Or just a shot of a bunch of freaky alien dudes with no lines who serve to let the audience know that Hal is just one member of an intergalactic police force of about 3200 strong.

Hopefully, that would be pretty cool.

It would seem that you and me are the only two mofo's that immediately went to Charlie Day in green spandex. :o

You guys aren't alone. It actually took me a few posts to realize that's not what people are talking about.

I think I saw Green Man in a comic today. Cant remember what it was called but it was issue 50.

Yeah, the Alpah Lanterns are currently in a story arc with the Cyborg Supeman. Eventually this may lead into the "Emerald Warrior" saga.

Guy Gardner and Kilowog kicking ass and not necessarily taking names.

Whats the "Emerald Warrior" sage about?

Guy Gardner and Kilowog kicking ass and not necessarily taking names.

I dont get it?

Emerald Warriors is a story arc where Guy Gardner goes on a secret mission for Atrocitus. This brings him into conflict with Hal Jordan with supposedly massive repercussions for the Green Lantern Corps. Apparently, Guy takes Kilowog and Arisia along the mission.

Ron Perlman for Green Man.

And in the proposed animated series, Gary Chalk for the voice of Green Man (if Perlman is not available).
