Gremlins by NECA

Anyone remember this line from a few years ago? How much are they worth now?

Not a heck of a lot, and there was no line that I recall....just a couple of figs in Cult Classics.

I don't even remember them.

I did however pick up the full line of Ghostbusters toys, including both dogs and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. The average price seems to be up to twice what I spent on them.

yep back in 02/03 NECA had the license to Gremlins and did a whole line (includeing plush Gizmos and other mogwai) here is the line of figs

and Giz on his card

I do know the cult classic Gremlin your talking about though (Mowhawk from Gremlins 2, it's slightly bigger then these fig though apperently)

Good to hear about the price on NECA's Stay Puft fig as I got one

NECA is still around, deity of choice bless 'em. These figs look good, as NECA pretty much always does.

I looked them up on eBay. The price seems to be about the same from all sellers, $14.99. That's probably the original going price. The plush toy seems to be worth the most, I've seen it as high as $24.99.

The also did some Headknockers, as well as this snowglobe, which I think look kinda cool.

I'm glad NECA is still kicking as I thought they always did great stuff. I asked because the last thing I remember them doing was the Ghostbusters figs which kicked all kinds of butt. To bad that they seem to keep getting licenses that won't allow them to do second waves though

They actually had a second wave planned for Ghostbusters. These were to be the first ever produced line of GB toys to feature the actual actor likenesses. Something along the way must have fell through.

They are making Princess Bride toys, which several of us are very stoked about.

Anyway, looks Like I am incorrect.

Neca Did also have two more Gremlin's planned for Cult Classics along the way, Bat Gremlin and Spider Gremlin, but they were cut out at some point.

And yes a second wave of Ghostbusters was planned but Bill Murray is a cock hole and wouldn't allow them his likness, So Neca felt it better to not make any then to only give us 3 (which I am mad about and thankfull for)

And Hells Yeah, Princess bride with at least three waves planned.....helll yeah

Oddly enough, Bill Murray was cool enough to do the upcoming Ghostbusters game. Go figure. Can't wait for that, looks great, and from the hands-on articles I've read, plays great too.

Thanks for putting up the info about Murry kiboshing the GB wave 2....glad more people know that it was him that did that line in.

I was also surprized when Bill Murray lent his likeness and voice to that game (which is gonna rock) cause he screwed up the Fig line and The thrid Movie

Ghostbusters is my favorite movie, but I don't really want them to make a third anymore. They're too old! This is a fine way to give the franchise the extra love it always deserved.

Yeah I may be in the minority by being 25 and not into the new video games but remember there are other fans who are much older then me who don't play video games that love the GB franchise.

I would also much rather have a 3rd flick with them then have them do the stupid thing and do a remake of it.
