I wish I was born in the 1930's...or 20's...or 60's.

I don't really like the time period I was born in.

This man,has the post.I dont really like this time period also,there is corruption and evil all around the world.Personally i would have perhaps picked the 1890`s as my time of birth and live in peace.

I was born in 1981. It was Tim Burton's Batman, Ghostbusters, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In retrospect I don't think the cartoons you watch as a child have much of an impact on your life.

Sometimes I wish I could have grown up at a Shaolin Kung Fu Buddhist temple, or in an indian tribe or something. Remember the movie The Last Samurai? I think it'd have been awesome to be one of those samurai's, and live that highly disciplined, yet simple life. Sometimes I think those society's have gotten closer than anybody else to a utopia. Ignorance is bliss, but once you open the door to knowledge, you have to finish walking through it in order to overcome the problems you created by opening it in the first place.

I was born in 1978. If I could change when I was born, I'd bump it back to 1968 so I could be of age to appreciate thrash metal when it first came out, instead of being single digits when they started up.

90's. and the revamped Zoom came out in like 99-00, so I had a great childhood. Today's youths tv and life sux.

I am glad that I grew up (90's) with good cartoons/shows like Boy Meets World, Beast Wars, and the DCAU.

Not the overpopulated, stupid anime on CN or pointless, mindless, piece of s*** shows on Nick.

2000 and on had no good Transformers show.

I only liked Sailor Moon in the 90s. Spongebob I didn't know about in '99 cuz I didn't have cable then.. Power Rangers was alright. I used to be the pink or yellow one during recess in Elemantary.

Are you saying you aren't old enough now? I'm sure you meant so you could be a teenager when it was popular, so that way you could have liked it at the same time everybody else liked it, but then chances are you would have appreciated it less.

Because a big part of you would have been trying to fit in rather than soak up the music for what it's worth. My favorite musicain is michael jackson, and we all know how that story went. He was a god among insects through the 80's and up untill he was accused of child molestation. Than he was a god amoung men, and now he's kind of a washed up freakshow. But it still has no impact on how much I appreciate the talent or enjoy the music. I probably enjoy it more, because I got something all these kids are missing out on, because I don't let the opinion of others effect my taste in music.
