Marvel & Fox have to have something up their sleeve. Will there been any cameo's at the wedding from other Marvel heroes no matter how brief??? I remember the rumor of The Beast making a brief appearance in this film...who knows? I would assume the wedding is the place to do it but if that was the case wouldn't the hero making the cameo HAVE to be inovlved in the action? It might not be the wedding scene but with the FF turning into accepted Heroes (unlike the X-Men) and celebrities in this film I would imagine we'll see something. Surely if The Beast was at the Wedding we'd see him in the pics already?

I don't see how they could have anyone that has been distributed out, so what, that leaves the X-men, and that ain't gonna happen, or at least not with the actual actors and IMO that would be a disaster to have some other actors in their place. Shall we say "ghetto". NOW, Kelsey did say he might possibly have a cameo in the F4 sequel, so that is a possibility. I guess Hulk, but I really don't see that happening, so I see some family and some friends and thats about it.

It could be anyone from Marvel's slate since they 100% control the rights to every character not distributed out they could surely lend the character for a cameo. I guess the Hulk would make a ton of sense in a future film though I doubt that one will happen. Dr. Strange would be cool.

If the mainstream audience knows the characters like "Hulk" or "Beast" then yes I say go for it. But some of the Marvel characters are just not known and to me would elevate the cheese factor up into the stratosphere. Lord knows we don't need anymore cheese, unless we need it to go along with all the whining around here.:cwink:

It woudln't elevate the cheese factor if Matt Murdoch walked up to Reed and said congrats, or Dr. Strange...not in costume. Actually it would be cool after the wedding disaster if Bruce Banner walks up to Reed and says...I need your help and Reed says he'll meet with him later not knowing who he is.

That's true, but then I have a feeling you would have at least, AT LEAST, 50% that would be like me and say "who the hell is Dr. Strange?". :woot:

^ Who cares? It's better that way. It wouldn't be something that up's the budget to add in, and it would be a little easter egg for the fans. The problem is they haven't casted the Strange movie yet so it would be kind of weird.

I'm not saying anyone has to care, lol, I'm just saying many of the characters will be very unknown, and unless done well, could come off as more of a "who the hell" rather than a "oh cool" for the fans.

It should not be made to stand out and distract to much unless the character is of importance. That's why I'm sick of the Stan Lee cameo's except in FF where it fit in. It becomes a irritating distraction.

I wouldn't hold my breath for this AD. FOX has the cast members from the franchises Elektra, Daredevil and the X-Men to choose from for this. Can you honestly see Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellan or Patrick Stewart signing up for a cameo in this film? I can't. Their worlds are completely different from FF's (even though they should be sharing the same universe).

Besides, unless it's one of the big name marquee actors I don't see an appearance carrying much gravity with the audience.

Again the it's just something like a easter egg not meant to grab attention of everyone. I'm sure there are some in the first film we don't know about.

i think it would be great to see some of marvels greatest at the wedding incognito. who cares if they haven't been cast yet...its for a cameo...characters have been recast for much bigger parts than a cameo...give me a blond guy buy the name of Steve Rogers or a Dr. Henry Pym...you could even do Hank McCoy prior to his transformation into the blue beast since that only came later after he experimented with mutagens...there are endless numbers of characters from the marvel universe that could be used...

maybe im not sure, i think matt murdock would of made a great cameo but as lightening said i cant see affleck doin a cameo. esp seeing as he makes it his duty to slate his role as DD.

I've looked at the wedding pics and have not been able to spot a single cameo. Looks like a lot of politicians from around the world unless they've got someone else up their sleeve?

Stan Lee has already commented that they're going to reenact a part of the classic comic wedding where he and Jack Kirby are refused entry (sans Kirby). So they will be able to honour the original. Having other Marvel characters making cameo appearances is complicated because of the way the film rights are split. Realistically Fox could only use the ones they own like the X-Men. I could see them working in a cameo for Beast and Cyclops for example.Don't think both actors would be opposed to doing it if asked.

In the original comic wedding anyone who's anyone turns up.TomKat's guest list pales in comparison.:woot:

Might just be the eyepatch- but that guy on the right... definitely reminds me of Nick Fury.

And, I think, it is possible for Hugh Jackman to do a cameo. I know that's a huge name for just a cameo appearance. But, as a walk on? It would work. I mean, out of all of the actors portraying comic book characters- Hugh Jackman and Thomas Jane, you could also had Chiklis to that list- are huge fans of their respective characters. Jackman and Jane even pursuing their characters for sequels or spin-offs. In other words, if asked, Hugh would probably say yes- if he had some free time in his schedule.

It's definitely Nick Fury. Back then, official canon was that Reed and Fury fought together in WWII. Now I guess it would be the Gulf War or Grenada.:cwink:
I'm still hoping for an appearance by Hank Pym or Kelsey Grammer/Beast.
Those seem like likely attendees, and the Beast would get a great reaction from the audience.

In the comics did the or any of the Fantastic Four know Matt Murdock ? He can show up & they can have him be their lawyer & friend. Im sure Ben Affleck wouldnt mind a small guest spot OUT OF COSTUME if they asked.

Yeah but most everyone else would mind. LOL Please don't let Affleck near any more Marvel films. Let him do Clerks sequels and films with whoever his girlfriend or wife alone so he can stop assaulted my senses on the screen. :word: Besides New Regency has Daredevil...not Fox. Fox was involved but doesn't own the rights and the producers are different.

I know who will be a guest at the wedding! Me!!
