Exactly. It needs a revolution. Its the same ol stuff, and the scores and general attitudes towards the games shows it. They have gotten progressively worse.

From who?? No one voted GH3 GOTY outside of Joystiq, and they are teh lame. Rock Band already proved to be a behemoth, even in its first try.

Both Rock Band and GH3. The last time I even played GH3 was when the Halo theme came out, almost 2 months ago

Rock Band is superior in every way, outside of difficulty of guitar. Expert on drums, however, is much more difficult in RB than expert on guitar in GH.

GH2 is leaps and bounds better. The only major advantage that GH3 has over it is Knights of Cydonia. Other songs are good on GH3, but the soundtrack to GH2 is great.

I was going to buy GH2 the other day but I read a bit of the songlist on the back and the only had one song that I like was(guns N roses sweet child O' mine)

The CEO of Activision announced to their investors a month or two ago that Guitar Hero IV and an Aerosmith spinoff game would be coming out this year.

Rock band is easily game of 2007 for me. I haven't spent this much time in a multiplayer game since Smash Melee, and even thats stretching it. Most fun I have had with a video game. I play everyday, usually, and there isn't too much better than waking up and playing with some friends after a night of drinking.

Once you've had a multiplayer session in Rock Band, there's no going back to GH. Also, I can't stand the GH controller now that I'm used to the RB controller. RB is my personal GOTY nominee.

Those are both stupid ideas. Does Aerosmith AND U2 both have enough difficult songs to merit each a full game? People should have learnt from "Rocks the 80's" about how poor those short games are. Just release them for DLC. Don't get too greedy, guys. It will bite you in the butt very soon.

The only time I have gone back to GH3 is to play Knights of Cydonia. Now, I play GH2 kind of often, as it has Thunderhorse on it, the greatest song to be placed on any music video game.

While "Rock Band" is much more fun than GH, GH does have more good songs. I myself love both. Even though Rock Band is consuming a lot of my time now, I will keep playing the GH games as well. However, if both "Rock Band 2" and "Guitar Hero IV" come out this year, I will no doubt pick up RB2 first.

Could someone please tell me how adaptable for left handed play is the Wii guitar controller? With the PS2, I have always found it playable, but really annoying that the whammy bar is out of the equation for use. Have their fixed this yet?!......
