Sequels Gwen Stacy casting

If Maguire does not sign on for Spidey 4, then it's almost certain that no one else from the main cast will come back (maybe Dylan Baker as Connors and J.K. Simmons as Jameson, but I don't think any others will). That means they'd have to recast MJ, Gwen, and (if they decide to reboot) Harry.

This thread is for potential casting choices for Gwen Stacy. If they don't reboot, then we're looking for someone in their mid-to-late-20's probably. If they do reboot (presumably with either Angarano or Fugit as Peter), then the actress should be a little younger, maybe early 20's.

I've been racking my brain trying to think of good actresses to play Gwen, but I can't find anyone who'd be perfect for the role. The only ones I've come up with who I think may be decent are:

Kristen Bell (for the slightly older version)

Amber Heard (for the younger version)

What do you guys think?

I know that she would love to return, but if the producers wanna go in a different direction, they'd obviously have to recast. I'm thinking if Maguire doesn't come back, most likely no one else from Spidey 3's cast will.

Tobey definitely is a better fit for Spidey than Shia. Much better. Shia can play geeky characters who are thrown into ridiculous situations (i.e. Transformers, Disturbia), but if you throw in the factor of superpowers and then the costume, I think he wouldn't be able to pull it off. He also doesn't look like Peter Parker.

If Shia is gonna play an upcoming comic book movie character, it's gotta be Yorick and ONLY Yorick.

Whatever... he is a noob. I remember signing up to SHH and recommending/defending all these ******ed, bull **** casting choices for superhero films. I learned in time that my hopeful choices would have been completely wrong for the part. Eventually he'll realize it and life will go on at SHH.

I don't think Bryce will be back. I think they'd want someone younger. I don't know when SM4 will take place... but she can't play a recently graduated college student by the time the movie is filmed. THey should get someone younger. I am leaning more towards the reboot so I am hoping the Stacy's won't be in it to distance itself from SM3. I don't mind either way. Didn't really care for the movie version of the character.
