I was just reading up on Doctor Doom when I remembered he was a gypsy. I then got to thinking how many other people in comics, good and bad, were gypsies? I know theres two of magnetos kids, Pietro and Wanda, but I can't think of anymore. Any help guys?

Magneto's wife and dead daughter were gypsies as well. The Szardos family, who ran the circus where Nightcrawler grew up, were also gypsies, I think.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say...

Gypsy from Birds of Prey ;)

That's just ludicrous. Why would you assume something like that? Bigot. :(

gypsy's actually not a gypsy. in an issue of justice league task force she said she's never even been to romania or even met a real gypsy.

Well then her name should be Amanda Szardose

In Marvel comics, gypsies exist to find orphaned kids and raise them until they become X-Men, reluctant superheroes, or ambitious masters of the world (i.e. villians). Its sort of a rule. Basically if anyone in the MU ever has a baby they want to get rid of, they just leave them near a band of gypsies and things sort of take care of themselves.

Wanna know where Baby May is (the Parker Baby)? Some say limbo, but mark my words...she's been raised by gypsies. ;)

He grew up on a circus just like all the rest of you, so yeah, probably. :p

I'm pretty sure its been stated he does due to his romani heritage.
