Hard drive illiterate

[Why Are You Crouching Spock?]

Require help if possible please.
Having to upgrade to a larger hard drive to play age of conan, but all this SATA 1-11/IDE stuff is really confusing, I don't want to buy a hardrive and find out it needs sent back.


These are my specs (stuff has been upgraded but the hardrive remains the same)

Your motherboard is SATA and the new drive is SATA

as long as ur motherboard have the same connection either it be SATA or PATA (IDE) then you should be fine
