Like, Dumbeldore was actually impersonating Snape in Spinners End, so Dumbly made the vow with Narcissa, not Snape?...yeah, it gets to be a bit much.

Maybe dumbledore and snape used that option to switch appearences making snape in fact gone and dumbledore standing right next to voldemort.

Honestly, what's up w/ the Harry Potter books? Are they really that great, or just shrouded in deceptive mysticism? (which people usually mistake for . . .greatness)

I've actually thought about reading them, but I decided to wait until the final one came out. Then I figured that I would just take a month and read them all.

Loosely, what attracts you (this question is for anyone who is willing to answer it) to the source material?

Style? Genre? Plot/twists? Continuity?

For me, it's the genre. I'd always wondered what it'd be like if our world were magical and even more; if we had schools for it. Rowling writes a little to much teeny relationship drama in the later books, but it makes sense as the kids are about that age. The plot twists are insane; the last 5 chapters of each book are guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat.

I voted for Voldemort, for obvious reasons. And one of the other Weasleys, because there's just so many of them their odds of all getting out unscathed aren't very good
