I was browsing through the setting in my 360 and I notice that you can connect your 360 directly to your pc. Now my question is how do you that and what can you do once its connected?

You can look at photos and listen to music. I've done it a few times, it's pretty kickass, but my laptop is where the kickass speakers are so I don't do it much. I forgot what the program is called but there are instructions depending on if you have the normal Windows XP or XP with Media Center. If you have Media Center you can watch videos, but only with Media Center.

You need a Windows Media Center Edition PC or can it be for any PC ? As I understand it you need a WMCE PC

To watch videos you need Media Center. Otherwise all you can do is view pictures and listen to music.

Thats stupid (:down about the Videos thing.

Is windows media center free, and once I get that All I have to do is connect?

I dunno dude, the 360 has the instructions. And no, you'll have to buy a version of Windows XP Media Center edition, you can try to download it but then you'll get owned by the authentication.

Ok I just followed the 360 instructions and now I can directly listen to my music and see my pictures of my xbox360! But now I want to watch my videos on my xbox. It seems it cant directly connect with the videos you have to to store the videos in your 360. Anyone know how to do that?

You have to burn them to a disk. Either a DVD or a VCD. Neither of which are enourmously difficult. As the 360 unlike the Xbox will play anykind of disk, even burned ones.

Ok I burn a vcd using a blank cd-r and it says mixed cd on the 360.

Well I know it won't work with files that are just dumped into a data CD. I've tried some of mine. I guess you just need to have a Media center PC connected to the 360 to get videos on your HDD. But did the VCD play? I mean I've got a DVD+/-RW in my PC so I can make DVD movies to play on the 360. That I swear are totally not porn. :p
