This is the only movie Paramount has the movie rights too and they're rotting away. There have been at least 3 director rumors, 2 script re-writes, and supposedly the last one was the best script ever and then...nothing. I imagine Paramount is about to lose those rights.

i hope deathlok gets madeit would be ass kicking action all the way

Didn't Paramount ditch Iron Man?So this shouldn't come as a surprise. Deathlok is basically a d-list character so getting sufficient interest and funds to make this movie was always going to be hard.

Having said that. In the right hands it has the potential to be good.

No...New Line did. Paramount now is distributing Iron Man though.

LOL As if a Deathlok movie was ever gonna get made.

Not a great loss: the script was awful.

As if we'll ever see a 120 million dollar Ghost Rider film. LOL

As if we'll ever see a Blade movie. LOL

Hellboy. LOL

Yeah I was never to keen on the slowly changing into a living computer from within. I liked the original storyline kind of a mix between Robocop, Bionic Man, and Blade Runner. I want to see him being used against his will as a weapon and then breaking free.

I just noticed IMDB now has a 2008 release date for Deathlok. We all know how reliable they are but still...it's a change. :)

I wonder what happened to this film. I always liked Deathlok. He was a cool character. But this is maybe one of those movies that should be R not PG-13. Dunno if Marvel is up to that anymore...

The Cap/Deathlok crossover (Captain America #286-288) could be one option. I remember that being cool little arc.

VERY valid point. As seen in the poster you replied to was at a loss for words, had nothing to back it up. Deathlok will probably get made, when? No idea.

I hope they do it. I have a few in mind for the title role.

I thought I heard rumors of these movies being "in the works in the near future"
Deathlock
Werewolf by Night
Namor
Iron Fist
