Has the new Thing series been cancelled?

Wherever I have read him in the past. Mostly Avengers.

I think he has a lot of potential for being one of the most badass characters of all time, but I haven't really seen that in him until Bendis wrote him.

Maybe I just missed out, and I'm wrong though.

I believe you have buddy, Hawkeye is insane...

I'd like to see what Slott would do with an X-Book (maybe a mini), I think he is great writing character interactions so it could turn out well....he'd have to do the whole racial undertones though...

Well, Slott has a real bright, classic comic feel, IMO. I think that a Hawkeye series should have a darker more badass tone. Similar to that in Moonknight.

Just my opinion.

totally, read Thunderbolts #21 onward. He kicks the whole team's ass single handedly

I like Slott on Thing, he's great on it. But if I had to choose another book for him, it would probably be a Hawkeye or Luke Cage ongoing.

Personally, I would love to see him write one of the spider-man books. His knack for sticking within continuity might fix several issues. And we wouldn't be stuck with Iron-Spidey (Per his joke at the costume last ish.):D

If not a mainstream title, then a Quicksilver or Hawkeye ongoing would be great.

I want Slott on So Many books, but I see him getting Spider-man before any others.

Spidey and FF are thee books for Slott.

I'm hoping we'll see a relaunch. It worked for She-Hulk

I'm hoping for that too. I think Marvel should give a title at least a year to see if it'll sell well.

I would love to see Brian Vaughn and John Romita Jr. on a Luke Cage ongoing.

I want Dan Slott/Ron Garney and Robert Kirkman/Mike Wieringo as the teams on the only two spidey titles(get rid of Spectacular Spider-man): Amazing Spider-man (Kirkman/Wieringo) and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man (Slott/Garney).

With JMS moving to a big Marvel book in December, they gotta take him off ASM or FF.

Not really. That seems to be his pet book. Almost like he wants to stay on as long as Peter David stayed on the Hulk :)

If that's true please let it be ASM that he leaves. I'm not a big fan of his FF run so far but he hasn't royally screwed up yet like he has on ASM.

A relaunch after only 7/8 issues; what would be the point? I'm against almost all relaunches as it feels like "starting all over".

I'm against relaunches in general as well (because what's the point of cancelling it in the first place), but they have been good and smart decisions for Runaways and She-Hulk for example. Basically, if I like a character/characters and the creative team and they have a chance to come back after being wrongfully cancelled, I'm all for it.

As sad as this may be,I think this could be a blessing in disguise.Slott's going to get THEE GIG soon at Marvel.Marvel would have to be dumb not to utilize a superb writer such as himself.
