Has the Price dropped any?

Because the price is so high that people are expecting a price drop before it's even released

I still like my route better.

Seriously though, I hate Sony. So many times my psx and ps2 broken down for no reason what so ever when my nes I got used and beat up years ago still works. It's pathetic.

God damn you Sony!:cmad:

See, I find that odd. My original PS1 lasted me until my PS2, which I bought at launch. My launch PS2 has survived in the boot of my car during my many high speed driving sessions through the winding Peak District, as well as a couple of droppages, and several more incidents of getting my foot tangled around a controller and yanking the PS2 from my desk. Still it chugs along nicely, like some ever trusty steed.

Mine too. I got mine at launch and it's fine still. Actaully, I must be pretty lucky, because I have never had any of my systems break.

Mine got ****ed 2 months after buying it and one month after the replacement. And after the ****ty PSP purchase I made, well.....Never. Ever. Again.

My PS2 was fine... but I went through a couple PSone's because I had laser problems with them.

I've never had a console break on me, I don't really know what you guys are doing to yours. As a matter of fact, I used to have my PS2 on my floor, and I and my friends stepped on it several times, kicked it, threw a controller fairly hard at it one time, and it kept chugging along. My launch 360 has survived very heavy play since November, no problems. What are you guys doing to your consoles?

My consoles are in top shape, except for my "first" PS2. For some reason is it couldn't read any discs, even after I cleaned its laser. So, I had to buy a new one, but other than that, my consoles are fine.

My PS2 from Launch is fine I still use it to this day & the same for my Gamecube & I got both of those at launch day. I got my 360 2 months after launch & to this day still have not had any trouble

Yeah, I upgraded to slim-line as soon as it came out.

I wouldn't bet on it.

Sony period have already lost. They lose $100 on each unit right? So if they ship the 6'000'000 they want to by march that means losses of $600'000'000 sony are ****ed, also the delay is gonna screw up blu-rays chances and it's too late to change the design so you'll end up paying $600 for an obsolete betamax equivalent with over-priced games. Sony shouldn't have gone with blu-ray on this one, it cost them the race before it even started.

What annoys me is that people that can't afford it are gonna buy it anyway.

Example: The guy that made this thread. He wants to know if the price will drop. But he'll buy it anyway because "it kicks ass" or whatever he said.

Look at the PSP. People buy it just 'cause it's Sony. They don't bother to look into what games are coming out. And they're probably happy enough playing the SAME games they've been playing for years anyway. UMDs?? What the hell.

Consoles just aren't worth the price tag!! You could be a pretty decent PC for the same price!!

And the games are overpriced too. I feel the same about 360 games. And what games are there on the PS3? MGS 4. That's about the only one announced I'm interested in.

I'll wait awhile for it to drop in price and to see if there are games worh buying it for.

PS3 being that expensive is the reason why I am at least waiting a year until I buy it. No game system is worth that much money. :down

I think the 360 is worth the price tag. The games are good, it's not reliant on a technology that could become obsolete before it even hits market and the media centre connectivity is freakin awesome!

Didn't they say they WERN'T going to drop the price for a longggg time? Like, 2+ years?
