Is Hasbro switching to 3 3/4 inch in figure size now?

Can the Incredible Hulk figures go with the Iron Man 2 ones since the humans in the Hulk line seem to be same size as Iron Man?

Im new to Marvel toys collecting so forgive me as Im sure i will have many questions down the road

Yes, it looks like Hasblow is phasing out 6" figures in favor of happymeal toys. I for one am advocating a boycott of their merchandise until such time as they restore Marvel Legends to their former glory.

Pretty much. A lot of us are not happy with the change to 3.75 inch. But if you're not into the Legends, they have tons of figures in the 3.75 size. Seems like they're the future. which sucks.

I'd say your Hulk and Iron Man stuff will be fine together. I don't own either one, but as long as their in the same scale....

Ah I see

and now they've switched the Spider-Man figures to 3.75 too?

They switched the entire marvel line to that scale so yea.

yeah, because apparently, Hasbro can't make any money with huge, bulky, take-up-too-much-shelf-space 6 inch figures, but they can rake in the cash by making them 2 & 1/4 inches smaller. :whatever:

Yes I-Hulk toys should work with IM2 toys scale wise. As the human figures in I-Hulk line were GI-Joe Valour vs. Vemon redecos/retools. The Humvee vehicle too. And there is a 1/18th scale Spider-man line.

On the general question of Hasbro going to 1/18th scale as opposed to 1/12th scale. Yes for the most part. 1/12th figures are relagated to store exclusives sub-lines. In fact they started the change over with the Incredible Hulk line.

Ok cool glad i can use the Hulk figures with the IM2 toy line.
Which Iron Monger figure goes best though? IM or IM2 version?

What is the 1/18th Spider-Man line? is that the brand new one released this year?

The question is do you want comic or movie accurate figures? The IM Iron Monger is better for scale with the IM2 movie series figures. But the IM2 comic series figures will be getting an Iron Monger down the road.

The 1/18th Spider-man line is comic based. And quite kid oriented.

yeah, what they said, though i dont mind the switch, my few 6inchers and my MU and such figs actually looks kinda neat together

I picked up the Iron Man 2 Mark V "suitcase" figure the other day and I must say I was really surprised at how small the figure was! detail isn't bad but it would be brilliant if there was a larger scale of this one available. Anyone know if HotToys or someone would make a larger more accurate version of this particular armour?

there might be a 6incher of the mark V released at walmart

Im going movie accurate
so if i understand what ur saying its this

Iron Man 2008 Iron Monger
IM2 Iron Man and War Machine figures
Incredible Hulk figures

does that about sum it up Movie accuracy wise?

Doesnt the Iron Monger figure from the IM2 toy line go with the IM2 toys too?

Watching the movie it seemed the Iron Monger was bigger but not by alot and the IM2 Monger goes perfect with the IM2 toys

In the movie it was at least 4 metres tall. Consider that a city bus came up to it's neck. Add in that the head was nearly as big as Ironman's torso. And Stane was totally contained in the torso. The thing was frickin' huge.

I really liked Sabetoonth's setup, where he used the 6" Iron Monger and the 3.75" Iron Man together. That looked to be the right scale and he pulled it off pretty well.

Is there pics?

"THIS LOOKS IMPORTANT!"

and yes, IM1 monger and MU Iron man
as far as the blur, my hadns arent very steady, and theres no focus option on the camera, it sucks.

This is the only pic he has, but if you can get beyond the blur, the size comparison looks about right.

I didn't buy Iron Monger, so I couldn't tell ya.
