Hasbro Wave One Packaged Pictures

The clamshell is officiallyl gone. But the packaging on these is still great. Even though I like consistency, I still appreciate the fact that each character gets there own box. It reminds me of the old school TMNT figs that had picutres of the character in the box all around the borders of the pacakge. Pretty cool.

Also, the figures aren't that bad.

I don't see beast around anywhere. not that i care. hope they put someone else in his place.

they're not as bad as the very first pictures I saw. And it could always be worse.

I like the packaging and I'm liking the figures more than when all we saw were the prototypes.

They're all awful.
Someone over on fwoosh pointed out Emma's uncanny resemblence to Ann Coulter.

I think series 2 will be better (Xorn! Blob!) but, then again, it'd be hard to be much worse.

If I get any from this wave, it's going to be Hercules and Iron Man. Maybe.

The Ult IM and Planet Hulk will probably be the main two for me to get with Herc as a secondary want. Don't want Banshee or movie Beast at all. Emma will be a toss up.

people at fwoosh also pointed out that the series 2 that we saw was painted by toybiz employees, not hasbro, so the paint will likely change
and the paint on series 1 is really what kills me on it

Wonder why there are no pics of movie Beast?

Packaging looks cool, I definitely like now they're unique for each figure.

Hercules looks like the best to me, he's probably my most anticipated figure from this wave now.

Emma's "diaper hips" don't really bug me that much. The head sculpt defiintly could use work though. Glad that they changed her lips so that they are white now.

Wish they would have given Banshee his collar, looks like I'll have to get good at customizing and sculpt one on. Neck looks like it may be a little long.

Hulk and Iron Man look good, just getting them for the Annihilus pieces though, same with movie Beast. Glad to see that Tony's helmet is fully removable.

Annihilus still looks like he'll be pretty cool.

The one I want most is Annihilus. But if i weren't a completist and if Annihulus wasn't the BAF, I'd skip on most of these figures. By no means is this a wave to make previous non-collectors of the line start collecting now. I'm glad to see Hercules finally being made though. And same for more FF villains.

God DAMN does Emma need a new headsculpt. And what is up with those hands? Did somebody at Hasbro decide that we didn't like the kung-fu grip joint?

Yeah, as far as I can tell none of them have the hand articulation.
Honestly, I think what makes these figures look so bad is the paint. No washes or details at all. The sculpts are probably all really cool, but the paint makes them look like the old 90s ToyBiz offerings.

I just really want Blob. I've been waiting for him ever since I first saw him on X-Men TAS. Even the figure then wasn't good enough, I wanted a big gross one. And to add to the realism, I'll probably spray this one down with Pam to simulate fat guy grease-sweat.

They do need a detail wash. Annihilus clearly has it, and he looks leagues better than the others. Just please, Hasbro, give us our Kung Fu grip back. Emma doesn't need it, but the guys do.

Looks like they're bringing it down a notch. Why they'd do it, who knows. I liked the individual fingers on guys like Bullseye and Sentry. Just glad Moon Knight got the individual fingers.

Why does Ultimate Iron man come with free green nipples?!?
