The Doc Ock looks cool but not better than the ML8 one. ML8 Doc Ock is my fav of all the Spidey villain figs with the newest Venom a close second. Especially when I put the labcoat from the old stumpy Doc Ock on him he looked very cool.

Rhino is OK but the armor stuff is just sooo outta place. And the decision to use THAT Lizard rather than the Fearsome Foes version is just plain stupid.

ya ill agree with that.. though what they shoulda done is used ultimate ock and just attached those tenticles to him.. rhino though in many cases has been drawn with that armor.. so i dont see that out of place at all.. but as for lizard... ya... why? lol

ya, only one thas a must for me is demogoblin... ill prob buy ock too (cant have too many good ocks)... as well as that new venom there repainting... (the classics one that was blue, there painting black) i like him much better then the last classics one... he was just a tad to hulking.. kinda like hes got many many tumors or something lol

ya, he doesnt look too much like venom to me.. VERY bulky.. and not only has stuby arms... but have very stubby or should i say nubby fingers... hes just too hulked out

Why the hell are they using the outdated Rhino and Lizard molds?
The art on the Demogoblin box: further proof that Hasbro just doesn't get it.

EDIT: The Spider-Man packages all look awful. They have a Dodson Spidey, a McFarlane Spidey, and two movie Spidey images on them.

Did the Hasbro people just not go to design school or something?

well like the legends.. the many different pictures are suppose to represent the many dif styles... they werent ever intending on trying to match the spideys

The packaging is nice, looks like those star wars packages. The figures look horrible! Emma frost looks like she is wearing a diaper!

Like Urich said, a more detailed paint job would really improve the look of these figures. A good wash can enhance even the weakest of sculpts, while a lack of a wash can really drag a good sculpt down.

Hercules looks like he could be a really good figure, if his paint job was more detail-oriented. Same with Ultimate Iron Man.

Herc looks like the best out of this wave.

I think they would all look worlds better if the paint apps were better, like a lot of people have said. There's just no detail and depth or shading to the characters. I think Emma would look awesome if they just added some dimension to her with another wash or something.

Hopefully they'll do that before the final releases.

Yeah, I'm liking them less and less. Herc is pretty much a for sure thing now since I'd like to have him for A) The Champions and B) to hang with a custom Ares I wanna do. Ult IM I need for my eventual armory but Planet Hulk I'm not to sure about and Emma I've just about decided not to get. If anything she'd be for parts to make one that doesn't look like a damn transvestite. If only they'd given the Four Horsemen the duties on sculpting the women. They've done a few ML sculpts so I don't see what the problem could be. The DCSH women has fabulous face sculpts compared to the ML women for the most part.
