Actually, Kenner/Hasbro had the best Batman lines ever. Not including the SP line from 84, the Dark Knight Collection and Returns line was great, the TAS line was and still is one of the best toy lines ever, the Legends of Batman and Legends of the Dark Knight line gave us some of the best sculpted and widest variety of Batman figs. The Forever and B&R lines were decent. You had the basic figs as well as variants, and a slew of vehicles and sets that were pretty nice. It wasnt until the animated series' stopped and the movies ended that Hasbro slowed down on the license. They felt that without a major media tool to help support the lines it wasnt in their best ($) interest to do a vast line. The problem was, WB wanted what they were used to getting and didnt understand Hasbros viewpoint. So, Mattel who was struggling popped in with a grand presentation of what they would do, which half was what Kenner already did, and won the license. Now, collectors are *****ing the same thing that we *****ed about with K/H at the end of their run.
I say give it all to Toy Biz.lol
