Hathaway Versus Hudson In Bride Wars

Frankly, I think she's not on guys' radar because she's in movies that no (straight) guy wants to see, except of course "Almost Famous". "Fool's Gold", "How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days", and now "Bride Wars"? Why does she only do chick flicks?

The Skeleton Key was a good movie.

Okay, not really interested in Bride Wars for these reasons: I'm a dude, I'm currently single, Straight, Don't like the fantasy idea of marriage, and that's basicly it. Not a fan of Kate's by the way, but I'm totally into Anne Hathaway. I watched the Devil Wears Prada last night and today just because of her alone, and I love the movie Havoc (see it).

If Bride Wars came on tv, I'd check it out because the dance clip they've been pimpin out lately looks pretty funny. However, that same clip bothers me with the idea that this is a PG rated movie? Really, male strippers don't automaticly render the movie PG-13? Once again, I find this to be a ploy to get younger girls to see this movie for the oh so un realistic fantasy marriage aspect of it.

For once, will Hollywood just give the youth of America a real, unappealing, truth of harshness aspect on life? Just tell it like it really is, and don't throw in a fantasy thought idea of what people want, give them what they need. A stronge dose of reality. No wonder teens today are messed up, they think the world is some sort of shopping mall for life.

i would expect a 6% for a kate hudson movie, but i had higher hopes considering anne hatheway was in this, i thought that might have meant that the story is actually clever.....guess not

The Hudson-Hathaway matchup never seemed like a good one. Hudson's only three and a half years older, but it seems like there is a bigger difference.

well hopefully Alice in Wonderland will be good, Hathaway seems very likable, but she hasn't really been in any movies I'd watch

Haha, damn, that is really bad. Darn, I'd been hoping for a good chick flick I still don't get the Hudson hate...I think both she and Hathaway are charming.

The real differance between Kate and Anne is that Anne is likible. Hudson is generaly known as that girl who's Goldie Hawns untalented daughter who comes off being a real drag in every role she's in. Hathaway has a personality that appeals to people, you could sit down with her and not feel like she's wanting you to go away.

That's just my opinion. I personaly just don't find Hudson appealing. She's not interesting to me. Just some wanna-be who got to be. Anne Hathaway, she's just very pleasent and carry's herself strongly in her roles.

haha...you may be right. Fugly girls don't like seeing pretty girls getting married on film. Now if they movie would have had a plot twist where they are both dumped and the groomes picked girls like look like Amy Winehouse, the reviews may have been better.

Wow dude, you actually find her likable? Anne was on Kimmel's show tonight so I watched a bit and immediately found her annoying - the way she talked and some mannerisms were really just off-putting. If I was in the same room as her, I'd be as far from her as possible. She seemed to be the kind of self-absorbed, egoistic girl so prevalent in society these days and probably likes to hear herself talk.

Sooooo...not gonna lie, this movie was pretty awful. I enjoy silly chick flicks, but this one really lacked charm, for me. I like Anne. I like Kate. I HATE them in the same movie. They both looked pretty (although Anne is looking a tad too thin. Kate has got a nice booty now, for any men that will actually be seeing this movie), but they had no chemistry together. They weren't convincing as best friends, or as people fighting.

Haha, I modeled my last haircut after Kate's when I first saw previews for this film, though I think her wardrobe for the film is great, too. But yeah, not a very fun movie. All the best parts were spoiled by the previews, too!
