Have the trailers been lacking?

Well short of actually showing the movie, well what do you expect. Pirates is big on the explosions and grand big fights. Spiderman is just one guy vs one other guy and not a crew. I dont see how you cant tell thats why your whoa factor is less. The trailer have been about showing story while pirates is about explosions(though they have story as well but the trailer doesnt show that).

I think some spidey fans dont like it as much becuase we have all seen most of the same material in every trailer. 4 trailers worth of some of the same stuff. I agree the music could have been better but honestly your not going to get as excited over stuff your already seen before. Not unless ur seeeing the whole movie, then youll be excited

I like thease trailers, I feel with Spiderman 2 they gave away too much particulalry the kiss in the cafe sequence for one of the trailers...it pretty much ruined that entire sequence in the movie....and some other things killed off some major plot points, via trailers that gave away too much


In this one I really don't know.... I feel like much of the plot is still a mystery

yea the SM3 trailers are better than the others becuase the reservation of the better parts of the movie. i was upset at the SM2 ads/trailers because they gave so much away (the tv ads revealed that mj and harry find out that peter was spidey! WTF?!?). i just don't want them pulling an x3. i saw like 2 of those trailers and when i finally saw it, nothing surprised me and i knew what scenes would come and what would happen in them. i applaud sony and columbia's method of advertisement this time.

No they have not been lacking. Enough has been shown both story and action wise to get the point across while not spoiling what will happen to Sandman, Eddie, MJ etc at the end for those not reading the spoilers constantly online. Sony has done a fantastic job promoting this baby.

honestly i think its the way the trailers have been edited ... i must admit i have seen all the trailers includin the one that was pulled down from youtube, u know the one with the, WITH GREAT POWER song... and i might be wrong, but even if that trailer wasnt completely done , since it got the animatics unfinished, it was wayyyy better than the domestic one, (and thats puttin aside the venom ending)... which was kool also.....
i think if that trailer wouldve been out officially, it wouldve make it to the top... just like the teaser trailer did..
