Battle Royale

We all know that the construction site "battle royale" will serve as the film's finale. We know that Venom and Sandman go against Spider-Man and Harry.

However, with of all of these leaked trailers and images and script reviews, what we thought was true may not be at all.

In the leaked/Venom trailer, we see the construction site in the afternoon. In the theatrical trailer, however, we see the battle occuring at night.

The script review tells us that Gwen is captured and taken to the battle, whereas the trailers show us that MJ is there too. Now, I am still questioning whether or not Gwen is actuallly in the finale or not. I think the shot of her falling takes place sometime before the finale, perhaps during Spider-Man Day?

So basically, this thread is dedicated to the battle royale. Feel free to post any theories you have (pictures or set reports to back up your ideas would be greatly appreciated)

No she's dropping at the construction site. Notice the yellow crane and I believe she's the tiny pink dot since she was wearing pink in the other shot.

Yea but, just because there's a crane in view, doesn't mean that its the same sequence. It's like saying that there is a building in one shot and then its in the background in another. There are plenty of construction sites in NYC.

She's even wearing the same clothes that she's wearing at Spider-Man Day. Plus, its not even night.

Its not night at battle royale either. Plus it would pretty unrealistc for her to be at the top of the building during Spider-an day since the onyl thing that happens there is Sandman interupts it with his armored car robbery. Plus the only villain that I think would really want to kidnap Gwen is Venom for revenge. There would be no logic behind Sandman bringing her up to a building then dropping her.

Maybe its dust when they start to fight and then the sun sets during the beginning of the battle causing it to be night time in the middle to the end of the fight.

SO it means that there could be 2 fights between Venom and Spidey, right?

Or maybe Spidey will at first beat Venom and then Sandman?

I can see what your saying. They're looking at Harry dead in that pic which means that it must be the end of battle royale. I don't know, maybe they drop Gwen near the end of the battle as well when the sun is rising.

i think when gwen is falling is when the spidey day is.

but i hope that gwen and MJ are in the finale.

The crene scene is part of the first confrontation between Spidey and Sandman, not during the Battle Royale.
