The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Have we completely seen the Goblin? (Something I noticed)

Me personally, I believe Yurka. I mean he's been doing this for 8 years, why would he lie now?.

I believe him too. Don't have any reason not to. That also entails that
The Rhino fight is the last scene of the movie. Meaning TASM 3 will start off with a huge Rhino fight. Which explains Giamatti being locked in for the third film even though the Sinister 6 won't be formed by then.

^ Well TASM3 doesn't have to start with [BLACKOUT]the Rhino fight...just 'cause TASM2 possibly ends with it.[/BLACKOUT] but I do believe Rhino will be in TASM3.

Do you mean Harry's look is a foreshadowing?

And, guys, can we keep the childish crap outta these threads please? Thanks.

No, I think he meant Norman. Norman is actually GREEN in that picture of him on his sick bed. He also has purple/red lesions and sores as well as some dark green veins. Harry's condition is similar, but nowhere near as severe. That said, I do think Norman's appearance is foreshadowing. Especially when coupled with the things Chris Cooper has said.

Oh, yes, that makes sense. Considering Norman's condition is more severe than what we can see happening to Harry, I'd say that's a possible indicator as to how Norman may end up having a 'deeper' transformation into his Goblin.

If that is the case I hope they opt for a design that more closely resembles the classic look rather than the "Ultimate" version where he's basically Hulk-lite.

How would they start the movie then? If it leaves off during that scene for them to start after the scene is over would be a complete waste?

Well, TASM3 would start with the Rhino being already defeated and locked away I suppose. We DO know that Giamatti will return and all, but I doubt that TASM3 would start literally where TASM2 ends.

Me either.

I think the point of Rhino in TASM2 is to tease him for future films, as Marc said. That way we have a villain in TASM3 that had already been introduced and made the series feel more fluid. Instead of a villain being introduced in each film and being defeated at the end, we will have villains that last throughout multiple films.

This was one of the best things about Spectacular Spider-Man and how it was paced. Villains didn't have to be introduced and used in one 22 minute episode. It allowed the characters time to breathe and develop, and it made the creation of Spidey's rogues gallery more organic and believable than say, the 90s animated series. Given the obvious influence Marc has taken from SSM, my guess is that it will play out this way.

I think so, too. With Raimi's films, other than Harry, each movie introduced a villain that got defeated by the end. It felt too formulaic, though it could have been avoided if they chose to turn Dylan Baker's Dr. Connors into the Lizard. If Webb is doing as you suggested, then it could feel as organic or fluid as TSSM tv series.
