The Spider-Man 3 FAQ Thread

^Meh...I am a big Venom fan but every thing about this movie leads up to the birth of Venom and his big fight at the end. The story revolves around the symbiote and it's influences that leads to the transformation of Eddie Brock. Spider-Man is essentially fighting the evil in himself, in the form of Venom. The fight will be epic, glorious, and awe inspiring. He will get a good battle before he dies. Plus with all the other classic villians that deserve screen time as well, it's ok to me that he dies. At least he is going to be in a movie period...unlike Gambit. And nothing Brett Hackner does, including X3, compares to what Raimi has created in the Spider-Man universe. Plus Pyslocke didn't really do anything...she had 2 lines(including a scream) and phased through a wall...that was it. Venom will beat the sh** out of Spidey and be in the final battle which most have said would be around 15 minutes...long enough to show all the glory of Venom.

I know this comes out of nowhere, but oh well!....

Wasn't there ones a rumor about Chris Rock having a camero in spidey 3!!??? something about him beeing a taxi-cap-driver during a chase scene where Spidey jumps on the roof of the taxi or something???

Yea, let me see if I can find the set report

Yea it was reported but no shots or on set confirmations from extras was posted anywhere.

Well, I don't know about him having a "Camero" in the film, but he does have a cameo...:woot:...as a taxi driver who gets out and says something when Black Spidey lands on the taxi...(atleast i think he gets out)...

CAH

I can just foresee the Chris Rock black jokes now...

I also don't think it was Chris Rock who ever said that. I thought it was Chris Tucker!?!?!?!

I was originally indignant about Venom's death, but as long as he kicks Spidey's a$$ like Topher promised, then I'm fine with it. After all, I realize that movies need to tie up loose ends.

So...was there some amount of truth to the rumors of Larry David being approached for Spider-Man 3? (these were before Topher was announced, btw)

How come I can't see the section found at the bottom of each forum, that shows the names of the members that are viewing this board, what happened to it?

/\ Yeah... what happened?

Also.... what the heck is going on with comcast videos? Are they deleting them as the weeks go on?! Because they no longer have a couple of the stunt vids from weeks back...

I noticed that as well. I wonder why they took them down.

GUYS I JUST FOUND SOMETHING THAT WILL INTEREST ALL FANBOYS AND GIRLS...

You know the part in the final trailer right when that news reporter says " could this be the end for spider man?" it shows a scene where Venom throws spider man, will if you really look frame by frame in that quick scene you will see Venom gripping spider man's head and then throwing him, and then i want you to combine it to the last scene of the trailer where venom pull spidey up.

:)

I can't stop laughing at all the kids posting topics that are getting locked! LOL!

yeah, what is up with all the recent Newbie activity? Not to mention all the trolls... Have the boards gone to hell because Spider-Man 3 is upon us? I don't get it...

Ditto. I well and truly want Peter to get raped...not literally.

There will be blood. Oh yes, there will be blood.

Venom is going to kick Spider-Man around like a rag doll!!

:woot: :sym:

I'm still waiting for SHH! or a Mod to answer this...:o

I'm sure it works in the movie, but it rules out having him return in sequels, or even getting his own spinoff for that matter. I'm guess I'm not entirely convinced that Venom is the kind of character that carry a film on his own... yeah, he's a cool villian, but there are other more interesting bad guys out there...

Venom is a cool villain; in fact, he is one of the greatest villains ever created in my mind...but, then again, Spider-Man 3 gives him justice...Eddie becomes Venom, Venom kicks Spidey's a for a bit, sadly he dies (which is in an awesome way)...so, to be honest, this movie is great for the symbiote and Venom...Venom couldn't hold up as a main villain to be honest, and as a so-called "minor" villain (my theory is still that New Goblin, Sandman and Venom are all main villains, they all have their shining moments) and it's just like TAS...Venom is only seen in one GOOD episode during the symbiote arc...in "Venom Returns", it was an okay episode, but not a very great episode, and that is also why they brought in Carnage is such a poor way, with him helping that flaming-head dude...so, to me, they are doing Venom justice...villains like Doc Ock and Lizard...they could be in sequels, but Venom could not...and also, Carnage won't be in a sequel anyways, so with Venom dying, it's fine by me...I said right after Spider-Man 2 came out that Venom needs to be in the third movie, I got my wish, and I'm happy.
