Okay, so I have the most up-to-date version of Quicktime, but everytime I try to play an HD trailer, the video is complete crap. I can hear just fine, but the video is just a bunch of pixelated green, orange and red stuff. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still doesn't work. I didn't have this problem before until recently. Is it because I bought a new widescreen LCD monitor a few months ago? Can anyone help me out?

Might be that your video card isn't powerful enough to handle the HD video.

Thing is that it used to work before on this very same computer. I don't know if me replacing the monitor has anything to do with it. Its a ViewSonic 19 inch LCD. I'm thinking it should be better than my CRT that I used before. I'm just not sure whats wrong with it now.

Try reinstalling your video drivers.
