Did not watch it. Will not watch it when it reruns the next week. I havent seen the 8 clips or anything new, except the sword, darn it! Staying spoiler free as much as I can. Just checkin' in from time to time to see what news is going 'round.

I saw a piece of it last night -- they showed Brawl (or at least a tank that looked like him) blown **** up in the city street scenes.

In other notes, the annual BotCon convention rolled into town here in RI today, and on my drive to work I saw the Optimus Prime truck on a flatbed on one of the side streets -- an attempt at pictures will be made during my lunch break this afternoon!

Since I'm new here, I can't start a new tread, but just thought that I should rub this in a little... while you are waiting to download the HBO First Look, I'll be enjoying the movie in 3 and a bit hours from now... getting an early premiere here in Norway

In all the ads and reviews and etc. I've hardly read or seen anything about the Transformers talking. Everything is always about the humans.

Not that I'm looking for robots in a Tarantino dialogged scene, but... Does this mean they don't get to talk much at all?

Or is this a marketing decision thinking people won't want to see a movie about talking robots?

From all of the loose talk, it seems like Optimus has the most dialogue, all of the autobots have a couple of lines. Megatron, Blackout, Barricade, Frenzy, and Starscream speak, i think a couple of them speak in their language tho.

I've seen the film, OP gets the most dialogue, OP and Bumblebee gets the most screentime. Bumblebee isn't able to talk but communicates through his car radio/and gestures. There are several scenes with the autobots talking with each other during the hiding-out-the-house scene, the dam scene, some parts in the main battle sequence. The action makes up most of their screentime.

The Decepticons have very few dialogue with the exception of Megatron near the end between him and OP. Barricade and Frenzy have a small conversation at the beginning, but in their Cybertronian language. Most of them pretty much growls the whole time with each just a line or two.
