Ok, so now that BB is over, I'm turning my attention over to this show. I havent seen any of this new season yet and I'm planning to catch up this week. How's it been so far? I'm curious to see how they're gonna top Gyp Rosetti from last year.

I really like it but sometimes I struggle with the length of the episodes.

When my mind switches off, I just don't care and my attention goes elsewhere.

I's still a completely solid show, but this season has been a slow burn. It just doesn't feel like this season's main plot has started yet, but this season may just be a series of smaller plots. Last year had a clear antagonist and goal.

I'm loving the fact that Eddie is sick of Nucky's ****. Some of their scenes in this season so far have been really funny.

It looks like there's going to be some interesting stuff next week but I agree it's been pretty ho-hum. The main things have been the betrayal of Chalky's right hand man and the seeds being planted for Nucky's downfall in the future.

The one thing I'm getting tired of is Van Alden being such a p***y. He was pretty bad ass during S1 but has done a 180 ever since.

I'm also shocked that Margaret has been so absent this far in.

Great episode last night... love the development of the good doctor and the rise of Meyer Lansky with the hard road for AR

Yeah, it was definitely my favorite episode of the new season so far. The Capones were fun too.

I'm not. Seems to me that their story line has run its course. As much as I liked them together it's all over now.

I've had some slight issues with this season but that probably comes from the fact that i've been catching BE almost immediately after I've caught the last BB episode. The shows have two very different approaches to telling the story especially with pace.

I'll probably appreciate them more now without that direct comparison.

Van Alden is the best character and they just made his plotline way interesting.

I'm not really shocked by that ending. They could have dragged it out for the rest of the season as he continued to feed info to the Feds but it would probably only end with the same result anyway.
