HD Help!!!!

Okay.... I jut bought a new setup... but I need help connecting them together, and getting the most...


TV - Samsung LN55B650
Blu Ray - LG BD390
Reciever - Yamaha RXZ7BL
Speakers - 7 Definitive Speakers (2 towers, 2 side satelies, 2 rear satelites, center, and sub)


so, how to I connect these together? I have like 4 hdmi cables at home too....

My cable box is the Time Warner DVR...
I know I can't get 1080p from TW, but can I get HD Sound? If so, I can I make sure I'm getting that from my speakers?

Very simple. Plug your BR Player with the HDMI to your receiver's HDMI 1 input and run another HDMI from the receiver's HDMI output to the the TV's HDMI 1 Input.

Which cable box do you have? If it is HD and has an HDMI socket, you can get 5.1 DD sound and HD 1080i or 720p video. You would connect that to your receiver's HDMI input 2.

This makes everything run through your receiver and allows you to get the best audio. It also allows you to keep you TV on the HDMI setting. You would change from Cable and BR Player through your receiver's remote.

Yeah as long as you have HDMI runinng from you TV to your receiver's HDMI out, you can connect everything you have through your receiver and it will all be linked to your TV.

The coolest thing I have though... a old school projector..

last year, Halloween, I played Dawn of the Dead, and Halloween on my garage door... we dragged out some old couches and seats, and watched them outside... perfect night for it... beats any home theater experience
