Okay, I've got a 46" Samsung DLP HDTV.

Today, when I turn it on, the DirecTV was a little bland in terms of colors, like, green wasn't really showing, and it was kind of faded.

    What's going on?

How's your warranty for the TV? I'd suggest getting it replaced if possible.

Hmmm... ok well you can try this. Try adjusting the colours yourself and seeing if you can get it right. I had to do this with my old TV. The only thing is after ever power outage you have to do it again... If it still won't work, you've got dead/damaged pixels. If you just bought it, just return it. But there is ONE possibility. If the colors still work with DVD, Xbox etc, your HDMI/Component cables might be messed up or the "Green" pixel transmitter in your DirecTV box could be fried. Check this stuff and get back to me.

Was going to suggest the same thing

I had a similar problem with my LCD. Turns ut my cables were plugged in the wrong sockets.

Yeah, everyone once in a while when I play my X-Box, it stops displaying red, and everything gets tinted with green. It's just that my component cables are a bit loose.

I had a dumbass moment. When I was unplugging my Xbox 360 last night, I must have unplugged the red component cable for my DirecTV.

    Thanks for the advice though.
