He-man Sequel Series (Netflix)

Looks good. Everyone is very toned, maybe even more so than Prince Adam when he isnt in He-Man form.

Oooh boy, the reactions to Teela are just about exactly how you would expect. God forbid the woman are as buff as the guys....

All the women look equally as buffed as she does...are they not complaining about them as well? Though I dont find anything wrong with them being buff.

Looks great! I don't think anyone minds the Adam change. It was always silly that he was already buff before the transformation in the original. (I know they did it because of the animation and toys, easy paintjob) I also like that they kept the hair

Teela looks like a full-grown woman compared to Prince Adam who is more of a boy. Are they going to be any kind of romantic interests at all in this? Or is it going to be just Teela interested in He-Man? But what happens when she finds out not only who he really is but that he's just a boy? Looks like a relationship doomed to fail. Unless Teela wants criminal charges against her for consorting with a minor.

He does look kind of young in that shot but not quite that young. Definitely no way to mistake Adam and He-Man for the same person though.

I was thinking they were doing it more like Billy Batson and Shazam with He-Man looking more like a grown up and muscular version of Prince Adam.

That's pretty much what it is, the transition is better a d makes more sense.

It would be better if neither Adam nor Teela were teenagers at all but both legally adults to avoid any kind of impropriety, especially when Adam becomes He-Man. In the 2002 series Teela was more of a teenager too. However, if Adam and Teela were both teenagers and under 18 and Adam becomes He-Man now he's the one who is getting himself into some trouble for flirting with Teela, even though inside Adam is actually a teenager himself.

Here she's a grown woman, which might be slightly better for when she's with He-Man (as opposed to Adam). But it's still unsavory if we all know He-Man is really a teenager inside.

Also are they going to feature Skeletor's backstory of being Keldor and Trapjaw being Kronis? Or are they ditching that because that wasn't in the original 80s series?

That reminds me of that issue they had with Shazam flirting with a teenage girl who was a fellow hero and knew who he was as a civilian (a teen her age). That got thorny real quick.

Oh my god, someone on the front page comment section for an article with the new images of this show said Teela looks like a drag queen!

Can the front page comment section system kindly go **** itself or even get nuked from orbit? The most Alt-Right, anti-woke incels on the face of the earth seem to conveniently pop out of the woodwork and complain about how how “woke” Hollywood is becoming or proclaim “leftist social programming” whenever articles on this stuff pops up, yet don’t seem to bother whenever actual issues come about. Comments even rightfully speaking against them get deleted while the trash still remains! :cmad::cmad::cmad:

I like the look of Teela. Actually they all look decent from that tweet.

SMG seems an odd vocal choice for this Teela now who seems like a hardened warrior. If she were like the 2002 Teela or a more laid back Teela then she might seem more fitting. I saw that Susan Eisenberg's name is in there in the credits for the Sorceress. Her voice seems like it would've worked more for Teela since she played Wonder Woman already.

SMG would work for someone like She-Hulk, just like they had Eliza Dushku voice her before for Hulk and the Agents of SMASH. I'll have to see how they portray Teela in this show and how SMG does.

I know nothing about He-Man but I am super keen to learn and check this series out.

Yes, and he's voiced by Kevin Conroy of all people.

Will his real name be Squiddish Rex from the MOTUC canon? Are they even going to use any of those bits?
Oh thanks! His character design hasn't been revealed yet, has it?

Not that I know of.

I hope Mer-Man isn't going to sound like Batman though. The classic version makes him sound like he's gargling water or his voice is coming from under a sink hole. I don't want him to sound like the Caped Crusader.

Looks like the Revelation series will be showcased in the new 7" deluxe Masters of the Universe Masterverse action figure series. It's due out in stores next year:

Are any of these figures Mer-Man?

Doesn't look like. The only one who could possibly be is the one on the bottom row on the far right, but his boots don't look correct for Mer-Man. Mer-Man's boots are more like the one on the top row second from the left, but that's definitely not Mer-Man. But I don't think any of them are because the silhouettes don't look right.

Oh bummer, thanks.
